Julianne Moore’s west village apartment tour went viral last week on @archdigest. Did you see it? Her home is exemplary of how one should ideally live with collections - incorporated, loved and used every day! Some major if-you-know-you-know pieces here! Can you spot any?

A hotel with personality, a coffee worth sitting down for, and an afternoon with art.

Color, pattern, a slow lunch. Take the spirit of Palm Beach without turning the entire trip into a reservation list. Choose one special stop, then let the day breathe.

Swipe for our list ->

#doma #cityguide

The Colony
The pink hotel brings plenty of personality. Swifty’s has indoor and poolside dining; look at a table there if you want a taste of the setting without booking a room. Dining does not imply pool access.
@thecolonypalmbeach

Sant Ambroeus
An espresso bar, pastries, gelato, and a courtyard terrace give you more than one way to stop in. Make coffee the plan, or check the restaurant menu for something longer.
@santambroeus

Norton Museum of Art
In West Palm Beach, the Norton pairs galleries with a sculpture garden. Treat this as its own afternoon rather than another stop to squeeze between lunch and dinner on the island.
@nortonmuseumofart

And how to bring it all home … 🦩

Do you notice a theme here?!
Folding screens are making a huge comeback in interiors. Similarly functioning like art - but flexible in positioning - it can create layers and focal points in rooms that may need a little more depth.
There are so many great secondhand finds online - we’ll post a round up in stories this weekend.

Exciting news from New York: @randcompanynyc is opening the doors to Building 86, its sprawling archive and warehouse at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

Previously reserved for the gallery team, the 16,000-square-foot space will now be accessible by appointment beginning September 23, giving visitors a rare look inside decades of collected design.

Rather than operating as a traditional exhibition space, Building 86 will continually bring works into new conversation, mixing periods, materials, and designers throughout the archive.

Alongside the collection are dedicated spaces for viewing, photography, conservation, and the behind-the-scenes work of caring for design. taken in Brooklyn, New York by @meetdoma
