Fireplace season is officially upon us. 🔥 And while we love a roaring fire, we’re equally interested in what surrounds it.

Beautiful stone, sculptural forms, and architectural details that look just as good when the fire isn’t lit

Every home needs a dedicated space for the transition between the workday and the evening. To create this cocktail vignette, we leaned into high-contrast materiality. We grounded the bright, soft textiles of the adjacent living space with the structured, architectural lines of matte black and glass shelving by @kathykuohome .

To keep the industrial frame from feeling too stark, we layered in softer, collected elements, a delicate pleated alabaster lamp from sourced by @alandelhome , vintage-inspired portraiture, and classical silhouettes. It’s a study in balance: engineered for entertaining, but styled with a soulful, collected touch.

#SundryAtelier #HomeBarDesign #ModernTraditional #InteriorStyling #SanJoseInteriorDesigner A chic home bar and living room transition designed by Sundry Atelier. The setup features a black metal and glass freestanding bar cabinet and matching wall-mounted shelves. The shelves are styled with crystal glassware, liquor bottles, a silver cocktail shaker, vintage art frames, a classical bust, and a white sculptural lamp with a black-trimmed pleated shade. A bright living room with neutral furnishings and a fluted wood coffee table is visible through the archway in the background.

A sanctuary designed for the art of the slow morning!

There is a distinct quietude that comes with a well-layered room. For this primary retreat, we began with the walls, enveloping the space in @portolapaints Limewash in #duneshack. The way the lime-based finish catches the light creates a sueded, living backdrop that shifts beautifully from dawn to dusk.

To ground the ethereal movement of the walls, we layered in the crisp, cool touch of @quince_sf organic percale bedding against the architectural lines of the @westelm x Pierce & Ward bench. It is in this intentional tension, between the rustic texture of the limewash and the refined spindle detailing of the wood, that a space truly begins to feel collected.

Wood has a way of slowing a room down. 🪵
The grain and tone soften edges, absorb light, and bring a quiet warmth and groundedness to the way a space feels.

A closer look at kitchens where texture, colour and detail do the talking. These are the kind of spaces that make time slow down and turn cooking into something you want to linger over. Which one draws you in?✨

Monday Musings 🤍

Zellige is a constant for us. Handmade, imperfect, and full of movement. The subtle variation in tone and texture brings warmth to a space in a way that always feels timeless.

Whether quiet and minimal or detailed and expressive, double wooden doors ground an entryway with warmth and intention. A reminder that good design begins with how we choose to welcome.
