POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Someday our children will talk about what it was like to grow up in our home. They don’t need our permission to share! They can tell all the stories! The funny ones, the tough ones, the victories, and the moments we failed and struggled. It’s our story and it belongs to each of us! Pride and humility are good for our souls.💗
Yes, Scripture speaks a lot about humility as something life-giving and wise, and about pride as something that can quietly lead us off course. The tone isn’t shame based it’s more like guidance for living well and staying grounded.

Here are some of the most meaningful ones:

🌿 Humility brings wisdom, grace, and growth
• Proverbs 11:2
🦉 “When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.”
→ Humility opens the door to clarity and better decisions.
• James 4:6
🐑 “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”
→ A reminder that humility aligns us with grace and support.
• 1 Peter 5:5
🦁 “Clothe yourselves with humility toward one another.”
→ Humility strengthens relationships—not just our inner life.
• Micah 6:8
⚖️ “Act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God.”
→ Humility is part of a balanced, grounded life.
🙈”Pride can lead us away from growth
• Proverbs 16:18
“Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.”
→ Pride can blind us to what we need to see.
• Proverbs 18:12
“Before a downfall the heart is haughty, but humility comes before honor.”
→ Honor tends to follow humility, not self-elevation.

e said goodbye last night to our sweet Cody. Cam went to pick out a golden retriever 11 years ago and locked in on this guy, a Clumber-Doodle who had thankfully locked in on him too. He was the sweetest shaggy soul and we will miss his personality and vocalization and humor and shenanigans. He was a character! @kali_kleiman @kirby @brandon_kleiman @clara_kleiman_ @campbell_kleimann taken in Frisco, Texas by @megkleiman
