al & i spent this evening setting up our sweet seasonal movement space @almanackarts

recent ponderings from al & i ~ @supta.yoga

spring is here &

supta is nearing her 10th year (april 11th 🤍), there has been a quiet (& sometimes not so quiet) feeling of change & growth

truthfully, as small business owners, there is never a dull day

& the last few weeks have been full ~ organizing the front end + the back end, connecting more deeply with our teaching community, & yes, of course ~ putting out fires (literally & figuratively)

it’s been humbling, grounding, & at times a little messy

whether you’ve been with us for a year or for all 10, we hope you feel it ~ our commitment to each other, & to this sweet, beautiful space we get to share

growth isn’t always graceful, but it is something we’re deeply grateful for. & right now, supta is definitely in a growth spurt ~

we have some exciting updates coming early this spring ~ but first, we’ll be taking a moment to pause, heading out on retreat to soak it all in, reflect, & keep dreaming about what this life is & can be

what my practice looked like today ~

i woke up feeling pretty depleted & emotional

grateful to have supta & movement as another home to land in ~ this is me leaning in, praying, & sorting through the heaviness

as of now, the 11am practice @supta.yoga is on tomorrow ~

a wildly full few days ~

lil charlie is officially five 🤍

people have been saying how fast time moves, but i feel almost the opposite

the day i gave birth was the best day of my life & it feels like lifetimes ago

in some ways i feel like a completely different person & somehow it also feels like charlie & i have been together forever ~ i am not sure i even remember what life was like without her

it doesn’t feel like time is slow, it feels more that time doesn’t even exist

alongside honoring & celebrating the most impactful day of my life & sweet chew, i’ve been weaving in & out of supta, connecting in one of the ways i love most ~ practice

there is one more speciality offering @supta.yoga this january

subtle actions, deep listening & inside-out movement are what truly deepen + uplift my practice ~

a small snippet from this morning, i explored tiny cat–cow-like actions woven through nearly every shape ~

my low back feels spacious + supported ~ & today that feels like everything i needed
