The unit turn includes:
✅ Rotation of hips
✅ Rotation of shoulder (non-dominant facilitates turn big time)
✅ Take-back of racket

Struggling with your serve toss?

✅ Release ball between eye level and top of the head

Part 2 - How to formulate a SUPER simple match plan.
Divide the court into 2 sections: Inside the baseline and behind.
You can attack and be aggressive when you're inside the court.
When you're behind the court, add shape to gain height and depth and neutralize or even defend the point.

Part 1 - How to formulate a SUPER simple yet very effective game plan:
Aim for the 50 foot orange ball junior lines. You can aggressively go for those lines. If you miss you're still making the "real" court!

When you play very defensive players (aka pushers), one way to put pressure on them is to come in.
BUT, make sure to not get too close to net because they're most likely to use lobs against you.
So if you're playing givers-of-no-pace as I like to call them, make sure that you work on your overheads!

Definitely a thing that happened to me: Freeze in total awe of a better player. Yes, a Monica Seles or Martina Hingis were objectively better than I was. But there were a ton of things that I could have worked on that they DIDN'T do and "perfect" them at my level. Neither, for instance, missed easy balls. Every single ball had a purpose without rushing the point. No loose double faults. Etc etc.

What do you think are players just one step above you DON'T do that you're still doing? If you could stop that, would be be able to beat them?

A great drill to work on your volley fundamentals.
You can also use it as a warm-up.

When you choke up on the grip, you have better control over your racket and makes it easier to work with good technique.
