5 years ago today, I released a project that changed my life for the better. ✨

The Hard Way Around the Sun created the space for me to process my physical and mental recovery after a very challenging year. The trench was deeep, but this music was healing. Nothing I’m doing now is possible without it. Beyond grateful to every single person who made it possible, God bless you all fr ❤️

Wow 5 years is crazyyy! 🥰

That's a wrap on The Young Musician of the Year Future Sound Festival 🎉🎶✨️ 150+ young musicians, 15 finalists, 12 original songs, one incredible night at the beautiful @stollerhall! Thank you to every young performer, the professional musicians, all the fantastic @coopacademies teachers - and of course the amazing audience for making it such a memorable event.

There'll be plenty more highlights coming over the next few days so keep it locked!

I know I haven’t been posting on here, but I promise I’m doing bare things! Lool.

I’ve been thinking a lot about what I’d like to share on my social media. What’s useful, or interesting or entertaining??? I haven’t quite figured that out yet. But I’m enjoying the ‘doing’ in real life at the moment. I think it still counts even if you don’t post about it. 😊

I also wanted to honour the late great Kanya King who was and is a HUGE inspiration to many of us working in music. Her contribution can’t really be summed up in words, so I’ll just say Thank You Kanya. 🕊️ Sending love and prayers to her family and my friends and colleagues who are grieving her loss so deeply. 🙏🏾❤️ by @meiwelbeck
