A mélange is a saucy mix or blend. Sometimes colour, sometimes food, and in this case... music.

Hosted in Brick Lane's iconic Bread and Butter Lounge, our [@melange.ldn] début event will be a marriage of poetry, live music and MCs and DJs.

With a roster of supremely talented artists, a great venue, and oodles of excitement - all we're missing is 🫵🏾!! by @melange.world

We were blessed to have a couple artists join the open cypher lineup on the day!

Introducing Tyson Venegas, a Canadian songwriter from Vancouver who has been refining his Wurlitzer driven sound in the glow of London’s collective/jam music scene for the past year.

Through his fresh take on vocal forward pop/R&B, Tyson has been building a dedicated following at bespoke pop-up events across the UK. by @melange.world

I told Mum that I was putting on a gig and she asked me if she could perform a poem. Hopefully you'll be able to see where I get it from!

(It was more of a gentle, polite instruction but I'd have said yes anyways ❤️) by @melange.world

Kyraflame is a soulful singer with the rare ability to make you feel warm and fuzzy before she’s even sung a note.

Her sweet, smooth voice shines on her track ‘Take Me’ – and also in the dangerous stash of unreleased demos we’re trying to peer-pressure her to drop. Until then, you’ll just have to catch her working her magic live this Friday. by @melange.world

Harry “Mellifluous” Mellor is a poet from Nottingham who saves his talking for the microphone.

Every time he finishes a sentence you’re suddenly made aware that this is a man who reads books for fun. He stands up, shells it, and sits down without breaking a sweat...it’s always the ones you never expect! by @melange.world

26-year-old George Bone is an award-winning Essex & London-based artist. While a pop artist holistically, George combines Pop, Neo-Jazz & RnB elements
together with his thought-provoking writing & lyrics. His artist’s inspirations reflect this, ranging from country icons such as Christ Stapleton and Dan + Shay, to the British-based Bruno Major, Eloise & Conor Albert. Often accompanied by a band, George is energetic; accompanying himself on keys, however, and you’re provided with an emotional, interactive experience leaving attendees craving more. by @melange.world

Anna-Margarita is the amazing co-founder and producer of The Olive Branch LDN, a sold-out monthly spoken word and music night at GoHub Studio in Brixton, home to a growing community of emerging UK artists and a whole lot of love (if you don't know, get to know!!!!)

Usually you’ll find her hosting and holding space for other voices – but this time, she’s back behind the mic.

Her spoken word journey kicked off in 2021 when her poem “Good Luck in Man City, (you prick)” hit 1 million views on TikTok in a week. Since then she’s been a Words First finalist with BBC Introducing London and Apples and Snakes, performed at the BBC Contains Strong Language festival, and had her poem “We Are Not Divided” broadcast on BBC Introducing.
