3 years since I moved to NYC to pursue my dreams. The journey has been spectacular with incredible growth opportunities and also difficult and challenging moments. Living alone in an unknown and fast paced city is not an easy task but I would not change anything about what I have experienced in these years. I am grateful to have met amazing people who inspire me and that are now my dearest friends. Thank you to my friends and my family for visiting me, you brought me a lot of moments of joy.
Definitely the best 3 years of my life ✨ Can’t wait for what’s coming next 😜

3 años desde que me mudé a NYC para perseguir mis sueños. El camino ha sido espectacular con oportunidades de crecimiento increíbles y también momentos difíciles y retadores. Vivir solo en una ciudad desconocida no es tarea fácil pero no cambiaría absolutamente nada de lo vivido en estos años. Navidad al estilo Seas 🎄🎁

Me siento bendecida de poder disfrutar de estas fechas y estos momentos con mi familia. En este mundo en el que ya todo va super rápido hay que detenerse un poco de vez en cuando y enfocarnos en lo que importa: poder estar presente en cada momento te da una oportunidad única de conocer a las personas a un nivel más profundo.

Agradezco el esfuerzo que hace @sara.seas1706 para organizar cada reunión y obvio sorprendernos con la comida, valoro que todos mis hermanos hayan podido venir, gracias @johana.seas por armar el árbol y envolver regalos, shout out to me por hacer el nacimiento y villas 🤭 y gracias a mis sobris con los que puedo despertar mi niña interior y mi lado competitivo jugando Mario Kart. Gracias a mi familia por ser como somos: con toda la bulla y gritos, conversaciones de cuando éramos chicos, sesión de fotos interminables porque siempre alguien cierra los ojos, travesuras de los peluches, drama que nunca falta y puro brindis y comelona.

Espero que hayan pasado todos una linda navidad! 🫶🏼

I feel blessed to be able to enjoy these moments with my family. In this world where everything already moves super fast, we have to stop a little from time to time and focus on what matters: enjoy the present and BE present in every moment gives you a unique opportunity to get to know people on a deeper level.

I appreciate the effort that @sara.seas1706 makes to organize each meeting and obviously surprise us with the food, I appreciate that all my siblings were able to come, thank you @johana.seas for setting up the christmas tree and wrapping gifts, shout out to me for making the nativity and villas 🤭 and thanks to my nephews with whom I can awaken my inner child and my competitive side playing Mario Kart. Thank you to my family for being who we are: with all the noise and shouting, conversations from when we were kids, endless photo sessions because someone always closes their eyes, gucci & happy stealing turkey legs, the inevitable drama and lots of toasts 🥂 and eating.

𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗖𝗛𝗔 - 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦

The comprehensive urban experience of the city of Lima is now impossible. The capital of Peru is the cradle of various provincial cities and cultures. People from Lima move regularly through an average of six districts (in which they live, study, work, shop and have fun) and are almost completely unaware of the other thirty-seven. Chaotic growth, insufficient transversal connection roads, an obsolete and dangerous public transportation system are factors that threaten cohesion. In addition to physical barriers, there are symbolic walls that also fragment the city.

The young migrants from Eastern Lima who moved to the capital in search for a better life, work in the lowest paid jobs and the ones who live below the poverty line have nothing to share with those who have cried over the prices of the most expensive supermarket and take refuge every summer on the city most exclusive beach clubs.

Despite sociocultural differences, sophisticated mechanisms of distinction, and silent but effective racist prejudices, Lima residents mainly share television, food and music. Who has not eaten a ceviche either at a Michelin Restaurant or in a crowded market? Who has not danced a cumbia or one of its derivatives? The joys unite us, the pains separate us.

The cultural image of a Lima with a single center has irreversibly cracked. From colonial Lima, we still preserve the racial heterogeneity, the love for incessant partying, the taste for satire, the attraction for what is foreign, and an emphatic patriotism. Colonial Lima was always a recipient of immigrant populations (Africans, Chinese, Japanese, Italians), but modern Lima is an exporting nest of young and not so young people to countries all over the world.

- Silk gazar bra top with alpaca yarn embroidery (needle punch technique)
- Shantung structured long skirt with print “Chicha”

𝟮. 𝗘𝗟 𝗠𝗜𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗘 𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗𝗢𝗥
- Oversized blazer with wide shoulders
- Wide trousers with welt and side pockets
🦙 Fabric for the suit was wet felted with alpaca roving, colorful yarns and black silk gauze
