@mtamanitoba membership renewed for next year

2027 will be 25 years in full time practice

I have had many roles in the massage therapy profession.

My favourite is building the treatment plan and the hands-on sessions.

A great morning with 6am @awesomehotyoga Foundations class with Tally

My 🧠 was not fully awake so there were lots of giggles as I struggled with left and right

Surround yourself with great people....

So the cause of Monday morning drama was a bathroom hot water supply line burst resulting in water damage to 8 units in the building

I messaged my favourite insurance broker at Lowey Insurance and they answered all my questions and called to check that I was ok ❤️

Generous patients & my colleagues brought garden & other goodies so I didn't have to think about eating ❤️

AND friends who check in, more than once, and offer a dehumidifier to use in your laundry room that had water in it (it's already filling up after an hour) ❤️ taken in Riverwalk Condominium by @melbrmt

Sooooo....not a great morning.

I woke up and heard water, sounded like a shower running, when standing in my kitchen. Opened the door and water was pouring down in the hallway. As I was calling the emergency line the alarm went off and evacuated the building.

I am safe.
The cats are safe and isolated in the bedroom.

My condo has some water damage along the hallway wall from the front closet to the laundry room.

Don't know what happened but it seems like it started on the fourth floor (pic 7) and made its way down to the parkade.

Thank you to my patients who rescheduled when I got called to come back to the condo. taken in Riverwalk Condominium by @melbrmt

Thank you @cityparkrunnersywg for another successful event & congratulations on 20 YEARS 🎉🎉🎉

I signed up not knowing if I would know anyone there. The running community in this city is awesome - so of course I found some cool peeps 🥰

I ran this Glow Stick 3k in demo Asics FFLeap in men's 6.5....which is a women's 8 (very good to know the conversion). No time tracked as this is for fun only

Post run refuel was on point and got to chat with all the generous sponsors and try on more shoes 👟

Luck was on my side as I am a WINNER - $50 gift card to @popeyeswinnipeg 🎉 taken in City Park Runners by @melbrmt

Mammogram number 4 in the books - thank you Jocelyn for the boob squish

Everything looks the same with those dense spots so fingers crossed for going onto an annual or biannual schedule (I got to see my images cause I am a BIT of an anatomy nerd)

My professional running pics of the @manitobamarathon Winnipeg 10 & 10

They aren't cute or posed but proof that at some points I was smiling during this physical challenge 😂

There are a few people in these pictures that I chased throughout this run - @adm082007 must be ahead of me - and you don't see the little kiddo giving out high fives to all of us who need a "power up"

Crossing the finish line is pure relief that I made it - my sunglasses hiding tears

Why do I run??
Cause it's hard
Cause most of the time it's a mental battle against the voice in my head telling me to stop
Cause I can

This is one of my favourite races with a bonus of it being blocks from my front door

Cheers to all of us who earned our 🏅 & 🍌
