@noni_mouse lands on Meld Records with single "Teknew" from her Kismet EP - a heavy four-track exploration of low-end weight, shattered breaks and raw percussion, built strictly for club systems. Full EP drops September 11th, with remix from @dustydan___

"Teknew" is the driving pulse of the EP, repping her signature attention to detail, raw percussion and experimental sound design. The track has playful exploration of texture and movement, with a distinctly danceable energy that finds its home comfortably on global percussive and leftfield bass dancefloors.

Enlisted for the remix, @djfarsight delivers a deconstructed, highly mixable wobbler from the source material of @leshlingi's single Sitac.

We met Farsight back in 2021, our first event post-lockdown, when we were based in Aberdeen. Situated in the function room of an O'Neill's, with a frankly ridiculous sound system crammed in floor to ceiling, the desire to dance was thick in the air.

An hour of the craziest reggaeton you've ever heard and a bottle of tequila later, we knew the Peruvian-American producer is someone we'd love to hear a remix from.

Fast forward to the present day (now), and that time has arrived.

With previous releases on Fabric, Rinse, Scuffed Recordings, and his recently launched and revered imprint @situations.label, we're warmed to the core to have him lend his vocation to us with a fresh take on Sitac. by @meld.records

WE’RE BACK. ⚡️

@leshlingi is landing on Meld. Today, we welcome his first single, "Sitac", out now everywhere - link in bio. The Spark EP comes out in full on June 12th, with a remix from @djfarsight

"Sitac" is INGI’s first foray into four-on-the-floor - so you know it’s special. His signature attention-to-detail ear candy adorns the top end of this thumper. It's a functional and polished dancefloor filler, with plenty of space left for people to cut their best shapes. Hands in the air energy.

With previous releases on @scuffedrecs and his own label @elastics__ - as well as a @floorlessfestival resident, INGI knows a thing or two about making tracks designed to get people moving. Right off the back of his first set of live shows, this is an artist who should be on your radar.

5 YEARS OF BREAK YO SELF

Initially released on the leap day of 2020 (Feb 29th), we’re officially celebrating 5 years of Bolam’s ‘Break Yo Self.’

Indisputably a modern classic, this EP has truly stood the test of time. Five years later, it’s still a staple on USBs, sound systems, and dance floors worldwide.

This was a seminal release for @_bolam, setting the bar for the incredible output that followed on labels like Haws, Holding Hands, Slump, and Neptune Discs.

Where did you last hear a track from the EP out? The first that comes to mind for us was The Cause, but there have been countless moments where these tracks have caught us off guard, filled the room, and warmed our hearts.

Huge thanks to @_bolam for trusting us with this one, @lws_lewis and @sputnik__one for the wicked remixes, and to our long-time artist and designer @fin.milne for both the design and the initial introduction. May these tracks continue getting rinsed for another 5 years and beyond.

🎉 Release day 🥳 my EP "Phantom Pressure" is out today on all platforms!!

Big thanks to @meld.records for all the support with the release and to @_smallcrab_ for the sick remix, so happy you can all now hear that dubby head bobber 🔊 (go see her at Venue MOT tomorrow!)

The EP starts off with "Take", a UK Bass hit with breakbeat drums and an earworm vocal, then goes into "Orbiting Frequencies" with a electo / UK Techno hybrid, with it's dark and hypnotic delayed synth flying across the stereoscape. Into the B side next is "Component" which starts with speedy broken drums with a bassy 808 into a halftime dubstep inspired synth laden second half. The title track is next "Phantom Pressure", showcasing a real morphing bassline with fast and energetic percussion for the dancefloor, and finishing it off with Small Crab's remix of the title track bringing a dubbier and more heads down cut.

Feels great to have my music finally released, after writing so much music in the last 3 years but not feeling like it's up to my standard I feel like I've got a process that really works for me now 💙 expect to get more new music coming more frequently! Thanks for all the support from the DJs, family, friends and my amazing partner by @meld.records

🔉🚨🇭🇰 I've been in Hong Kong for the last week but happy to announce that my second single Component is out today from my forthcoming Phantom Pressure EP with @meld_records 💙

This is the first track of the B side, bringing in a synth driven sub bass hitter of a track that starts with fast UK techno driven drums into a percussion laden breakdown and taking it into a halftime 140 dubstep inspired second half with bright LFO wobbles 〰️〰️

The full EP will be out a week today on March 15, with the preorder up now on all platforms ✨ so check the link in my bio to check that out taken in Hong Kong by @meld.records
