After years of pausing things which gave me a sense of liveliness, I finally found my way back to one of those..
Wakeboarding was introduced me by my mum, as she took me to the lake in Heuchelheim in 2007. The longest distance I made was around 50 meters, lol. Later a new facility was opened in Bursa and I started going more regularly. I even started hopping over small obstacles. 5-6 rounds without falling became normal.
As I moved to Stuttgart in 2011 it became more difficult to continue. The closest facility was 1,5h drive away which meant 3h driving for 1-2h wakeboarding. Since my circle of friends was limited, I couldn’t find company either and I lost the joy in it. Years and circumstances later I’m so glad I did it again after so long time. Surprisingly I managed to complete some rounds even though the lift was turning the other way (clockwise) as I was used to (anti-clockwise). Must be a French thing 😜 🫶🏻🇫🇷🥨

Almost full moon..
I haven’t been posting for a long while. There have been ups an downs in my life. After a long time I feel at balance again and I’m so grateful..
I am a romantic. One of the things I love about myself is, that I can see beauties in nature and get mesmerised by them spontaneously. It’s just like I get attracted to them and suddenly stop talking or whatever I am doing in that moment. Even in the darkest times if my life this elevates my mood. I take pictures and it’s become a kind of ritual to share them with my mum.
Tomorrow is the first day of my new life. I am so excited that I woke up In the middle of the night, again.. I hope and believe I won’t be disappointed this time. Wish me luck, I send you all my love!

I am honoured that I was invited by my #Korean friend and his french wife to “Chuseok”, the Korean thanksgiving, a special time for family, friends, and food, last Friday. This was my first real experience with Korean tradition. At the beginning, there was a ceremony in the honor of the late ancestors (father and grandparents) of my Korean friend. Their names were written on paper above the dining table, which was prepared with their favourite food and was symbolically offered to them. After greeting the ancestors and “letting then enjoy their meal” they were let go again, by burning the piece of paper with their names on. My friend explained, that the traditional ceremony is normally much more complicated.

After the ceremony we enjoyed the #Chuseok dinner together which consisted of lots of tiny different dishes. Delicious!

When you’re far from home, keeping traditions becomes more meaningful... Thanks for letting me be a part of it.

This #Simca6 from 1949 has been built by #Simca with the #FiatTopolino licence and plenty of body parts, which were their own design and engineering. Actually it looks quite different from the Topolino and has the style of a shrunken American road cruiser.

„Fritz“ is a Mercedes-Benz #180D #Ponton #Binz #Zivilkombi with six seats and a large folding roof, which gives front and fund passengers access to the sky. This wagon was not produced in series, which makes him really rare.
