In Motion, In Stillness — a Saturday afternoon in movement, attention and drawing by @anggrek.agency @medy.the.minimalist at mep @themep.ch @mooorningl Yesterday’s session began with an immersive movement performance by Medy the Minimalist, unfolding directly within Duo show ‘Study in Stillness and Transformation’ by @dimitrina_sevova and @christineloh.art . With no fixed stage, the body moved between artworks, space and audience, responding to music and to the atmosphere of the exhibition itself. From movement, we shifted into stillness. In the second part, Steven Anggrek @stevenanggrek guided a live drawing session focused on observation, attention and bodily awareness. Rather than drawing “correctly”, participants were invited to notice rhythm, tension, gesture and space — using drawing as a way to slow down, refocus and translate physical experience into lines on paper. Two different practices, but one continuous experience: from body to line, from movement to stillness, from watching to sensing. Thank you to Medy, Steven, Anna, Vasilena and everyone who join and support us and became part of the space. Would you like to join our next one? Stay tuned 💕 🔗themep.ch photo by @vasilena_xxiv

Now there’s a thought! 🤯 I didn’t just pluck that statistic out of the air. I’ve been thinking a lot about how we ‘over-consume’ and working out how many pairs of tights end up in landfill every year! 🤯 I am sure the big brands all ponder over the same thing 🧐 ok ………maybe not 😂 Buying tights and treating them as a disposable item is a fast fashion habit that the big brands want to continue. Why? It's really profitable for them, but it puts a huge strain on the environment & is simply unsustainable. At Imperfect Pointes, we want to change things for good. We started with leotards and now we are taking on tights with our collaboration partner @swedishstockings .....who just happen to be the first sustainable hosiery brand worldwide….. 🏆 Comment below if you like the sound of this ⬇️ #plasticfreejuly #balletstyle #slowfashion #balletaddiction #movedancewear #sodanca #recycledfabric #balletforlife #bloch #planetfriendlydancewear #fashionrevolution #sustainableandsocial #manchesterfashionmovement #sustainabledancer #greenwashing #capezio #ballettights #sustainablymade #collab #convertibletights #transitiontights #pinktights#balletblogger #imperfectlysustainable #ballerinasofinstagram #skintonedballettights #tightstraumas #swedishstockings #lifeintights #convertibletights

#CKSummer #deinteamdeinziel #Community
