This Jaeger-LeCoultre Triple Calendar Moonphase 🌕 ended up becoming my second watch in a pretty unconventional way after I fell in love with the design.

I'm sharing this because I don't think people talk enough about buying watches at auction. There's more to it than just the hammer price, and I wanted to give some insight into what the real cost can look like.

For me, the risk was worth it for a unique JLC.
Thankfully, the amazing but slightly rusty movement was repairable by a watchmaker.

Would you ever take a gamble on a non-running watch?

Let me know why you would, or why you wouldn't.

I LOVE stone dials, and this @sartorybillard with a natural ruby dial is right up my alley. The dial is truly stunning, and the colour just perfect ❤️

I think the design suited my wrist really well, as for dimensions, it might be a tiny bit large on me but I love it so much I don't even mind 🫣

If only I could take it home with me! Maybe one day!

An affordable budget chronograph, in the ever popular reverse panda colorway? It exists! I received this watch as a gift from dutch microbrand @vescari_watches and it looks good! Just a bit chunky for my personal taste.

I don't think I'll ever use a chronograph but I have to say the subdials always look cool 🫣

What do you think?

The final model of the Nivada Grenchen F77 MK1 is this Ace collaboration, with the fitting name Midnight Blue. The straighter lugs make it sit a tad big on my wrist, but it still looks great in my opinion! I wonder how the MK2 would fit 🤔?

The wonderful 💙 dial put on quite a show!

I couldn't decide which size of the Ace X NOMOS Metro Neomatik Orange I liked more 🍊

The 35mm or the 39mm? Which one would you pick?

Minimalism isn't a style I usually gravitate towards, but I really loved the clean design and that pop of orange.

I visited @acejewelers to see and film beautiful watches!

There were so many interesting pieces, and I'm excited to share them with you. I will make a separate video for each one so stay around ⌚️✨️

Are there ones you recognise already?

A big chunk 🐼 of personality, but I'm not going to get a Seiko Pandagraph. If anyone ever makes a chroDOGraph though... 🫣

What do you think of the Pandagraph?

I love vintage watches and I think I have a preference for two tone 🤭. This is my list of brands that I think have great value, but you should always be super critical and careful with every vintage watch purchase.

Any watch brands or specific models that are on your radar on the secondary market?

I joined a creator call hosted by @benswatches together with 20+ (new) content creators, and I came away with 7 valuable lessons about growing as a content creator.⌚️

Here’s what I learned:

1. Show up consistently.
You don’t grow by posting once in a while.

2. Make every video better than the last.
Learn something from every post and keep improving.

3. Find your angle and have your own opinion.
Don’t just repeat what everyone else says.

4. Double down on what works.
Pay attention to what people enjoy.

5. Give brands proof.
Views, engagement, and click-through rate help demonstrate the value you bring as a creator.

6. Hit post on every platform.
Publish on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.

7. Network and build relationships.
Connect with other creators and people in the watch industry.

A special thank you to Ben’s Watches for bringing creators together and sharing valuable insights.

Now comes the exciting part: putting these lessons into practice!

Got this vintage Herodia with fun and colorful interchangeable bezels! It's gold-plated and has some wear, but the movement runs and it has a lot of charm.

Know any other versatile pieces like this? Vintage or modern, let me know!
