Time for my February (and maybe March?) break from Instagram. Mostly just want to read books and make art and dream analog dreams and refocus on community. You know where to find me (in these here streets)! 👋🏻 🌞 ❄️ 💋 💿 ☕️ 🌀 by @meljplank

💐After 18 years together, on October 13th, 2025, Dave and Mel eloped in the backyard in 18 minutes. Flowers were cut and arranged by my sweet, perfect mama, ceremony and photos by our bff Lucas, and we were visited mid-nuptial by Thunder the cat (a notorious street-cat from Philly), while Macy took her evening nap inside. Then we ate salmon, and cake. 🌙 by @meljplank

Going to take my October break from Instagram now (for lots of great reasons which will soon be revealed). Here is a dollhouse I got for free. She’s a real fixer upper but the bones are very good. Please let the magnificent potential of this vacant dollhouse fill your heart with hope for her future, your future, our future!

Going to the Community Defense Workshop this Saturday at Mather High School 5835 N Lincoln from 11am-2pm, and then will probably head downtown to protest. Let me know if you want to join me. by @meljplank

Whether you know him as Dave, Dave Daniels, Mickey Blue Eyes, DD or Double D, DVD, or as the artist Dave V, aka @davevmusic, you know he is a gentle genius. Which leads me to ask…

Have you watched what I like to call Dave TV yet? Aka Musora’s S01E01 of Everyday Musician starring our dearest, vulnerable diva, Dave V? If not, tap the link in his bio and enjoy. I’m honestly so sad there isn’t more Dave TV. Would absolutely binge.

Dave, I am so glad I bought you that Old Town class years ago. You have filled our home with music and creative energy. I couldn’t be more grateful or inspired. Time to get out there and melt some faces. 🩵🎸 🩵 by @meljplank
