What a crowd and gig last night. Don't know where to begin. Just a warm embrace of music from the crowd and artists in an amazing venue that do things right. One of @mellowparty_ best ever gigs and an honour to share the stage with the enigmatic @alanjohnfrew and his amazing band including @erinhephz_ Not to mention the brilliant Italian troubador @damienmcfly both mesmerising and taking the crowd into different moods and atmospheres. A truly special bill to be a part of at @freckfest @harbour.arts.centre.irvine
Great to finish the night with the weight!

We are all so looking forward to being back at the HAC tomorrow night.

Get yourself along to see three - yes three! - acts, including the brilliant Mellow Party, whose song 'If It Gets You Where You're Going' has been on repeat here 💛

A couple of people have mentioned they have had an issue with the 🎫🎫 l i n k, with a new one in the b i o. Please do let us know if you are too, we don't want you to miss out! taken in Harbour Arts Centre by @mellowparty_

🚨 We need to apologise...

When we were asked to make a video to help sell tickets for the Mellow Party gig, we probably should have thought of a better idea than combining trampolines, musicians and absolutely no common sense.

Thankfully, I'm absolutely fine, although John's knees may never recover. 😂

If you're looking for a great night out, come join us at the Harbour Arts Centre on 7th August for Mellow Party, alongside The @alanjohnfrew Band and @damienmcfly

Please get your tickets booked. It really helps independent musicians know people are coming and means we don't have to keep embarrassing ourselves with increasingly ridiculous promotional videos.

Any trouble with tickets links just send us a message ,🙂

🎟️ See you there!

In 1995 I saved all summer(milk round and labouring) to afford my ticket to watch Smaller, The Verve and Oasis at Irvine Beach where we slept that night, no tent , no sleeping bags , just youthful exuberance. Now in the year of Ayrshire 2026 i'm happy to be indoors at the wonderful Harbour Arts Centre for Freckfest with the brilliant @alanjohnfrew , @damienmcfly and the bad boys of lowlander alternative folk @mellowparty_ We may or may not sleep on the beach after.

Big celebrations today 🥳 ✨️💛🎓

Huge congratulations to oor John McMustard @colonelmustardandfriends on completing his Postgraduate Diploma in CBT - BABCP approved from Queen Margaret University, South of Scotland. 🎓👨‍🎓

After speaking with John, he said it’s “one of the best things I’ve done in my 20 year NHS career” and he’s seen firsthand the major benefits CBT can have for people with anxiety, depression and other disorders.

20 years of NHS service + now adding specialist CBT to the toolkit. Amazing work 👏

We're all proud of you mate.
