I went to visit my good friend Jody for a couple of days. She made me this printer box, intended to be a coffee table. Over the years we have collected smalls and sent them to one another. I continued to collect things, small, interesting, fun objects, and I have been placing them into this table. So this weekend, I brought the table back to her, we tacked the items down and mounted plexiglass as a finishing touch. Now I’ve got a display case coffee table for all my little things. ❤️💕 Thanks friend!! by @mellytesta

This may not look like much. But, it is alot. I am paring my belongings down. These plexiglas pieces used to be mounts for handmade stamps that I no longer use. It’s hard to donate such personal items to a thrift store. I cant imagine throwing them away. So, instead, I decided to remove the craft foam, clean the glue off and will keep the mounts for future artworks. I recycled! All of this plexiglas was found on the street of NYC to begin with. 😀 These are easier to store and I threw less away. by @mellytesta

I am assessing my collections and curations. I love my empty small container grouping, somehow I think it is useful and important, is it though? THen 5ere is my lifetime collection of feathers. I love the wonky sunglasses found in a park in New Haven, CT, which group well with 3D movie glasses, solar eclipse glasses and other found sunnies. Thrifting a Tetley Tea tin made me gather up all my small scissors, because they ought to be in one place.
I have released my rock and shell collection to the ocean and I will free my shard collection to the river as well, neither are pictured.

A few years back I started this Half Square Triangle adventure, recently I decided to take it out and try and finish it. I have been stash busting for a few years and I used up my stash 5x5” precuts. You will see some of my own Floribunda line by @rjrfabrics in the mix along with some by @leslietuckerjenison and @carriebloomston . This quilt utilizes wool flannel as batting (I did need to enlarge the piece with come cotton Flannel, but not much). As a result, it drapes differently. The piece of wool was given to me, it is fine and somewhat sheer, the cotton flannel I used to extend the size had a body and heft, comparatively. Since taking these photos, I have begun doubling the straight line quilting, I imagine this might help it age and wear better. The back is a vibrant grouping of green fabrics. You can see a small patch of @heatherrossinsta frog fabric! An enchanting addition, to be sure. More photos to come, after I finish quilting and bind it. Wish me luck! 🍀 by @mellytesta
