Inspiration post for my #sewtopiaswap Galentine's mug rug swap. This is basically me to a T. I don't know how you're going to interpret it but can't wait to see what you come up with. Good luck. 😁 **Not my work.**

National Water Dance 2022
Join us on Saturday, April 23rd at 2:30pm for a park clean up organized by Save the Sound followed by a live performance at 4pm EST. Elm City Dance Collective has gathered local artists from different arts communities to perform in this activism-through-art project to bring back live performance to the Elm City. Our location, Long Wharf Park, just down from the food trucks on Long Wharf Drive, brings attention to the shoreline, Long Island Sound, and the pier where the historic “Amistad” schooner is seasonally docked. Save the Sound will have an information table set up for the duration of the event to encourage those who attend to learn more about our water; the Sound and shoreline; and ways we can be involved in the organization's work. National Water Dance, founded by Dale Andree, is an artist-driven collective of dancers, students, educators and community members who create simultaneous performances across the country.
.
ECDC's National Water Dance is supported in part by Regional Water Authority, the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven and New England Grassroots Environment Fund.

Collaborating artists:
Diana Deaver, Lina Herrera, Melanie Testa, Alexis Robbins, Thabisa Rich, Claire Cody, Emily Coates, Earl Ali-Randall, Lynn Peterson, Kellie Ann Lynch, Lindsey Bauer and nikki lee.
