Growth isn’t always pretty, comfortable, or easy. Sometimes it looks like taking a chance, starting over, and figuring things out as you go.

But staying comfortable never got me where I wanted to be. 🤎✨

Okay. I need everyone to add your theories to the comments immediately because I have THOUGHTS but apparently no words. 😭 And while you’re down there, any words of encouragement are also greatly appreciated because I am… not well.

Turns out growing up is mostly unlearning a bunch of stuff you thought you had to be.

I don’t have to turn every hobby into a goal.
I don’t have to explain every choice.
Busy doesn’t always mean productive.
Wanting more doesn’t mean I’m ungrateful.
And apparently reading about dragons until 1am IS self care. 🐉⚔️

Anyway… just a few things I’m learning lately. 🤎🤎
Which one hit you the hardest?

Just a girl trying to figure out social media while also making sure my page actually feels like me. ⚡️

Because yes, I love creating, I love the opportunities that come with it, and I love sharing things I genuinely use… but I also don’t want my entire personality to become “here’s something you should buy.” 🐉

Anyway, that’s my TED Talk. 🫶🏼

I genuinely don’t know how to like something a normal amount.

I either don’t care at all or it becomes my entire personality.

Anyway, I’ll be here until further notice🐉❤️‍🔥

Hey, I’m Melissa 👋🏼
Hairstylist, content creator, runner, mom, reality TV competitor, and professional “why not?” person✨

I’ve built a business, raised two girls, run more races than I can count, competed on Netflix, and somehow turned sharing my life online into part of my job.

Basically… I do a little bit of everything and I’m usually doing it at full speed. 🤎

Okayyy @saiebeauty 😮‍💨🤎 meet the new SuperSuede™ Baked Eyeshadow, the easiest little one-and-done eye moment.

The formula is baked for that smooth, soft-focus finish and comes in demi-matte + low-lit shimmer shades that can be worn alone or layered together. I’m wearing mine together because obviously I needed both.
Available now at @sephora + Saie
Beauty.✨
