300 Orangetheory classes down, and today officially marked my last workout before my first HYROX competition on Friday! 🧡💪🏾🔥

I’m excited, nervous, and honestly still a little in disbelief that I’m doing this! If you had asked me a year ago whether I’d be preparing to compete in something like HYROX, I probably would have laughed.

The Taylor from a year ago was holding a 5.0 on the treadmill, and now I’m consistently holding a 6.5 for longer distances and knocking out miles I never thought I could run.

I am SO proud of the work I’ve put in and how far I’ve come, but I also know I wouldn’t be here without the incredible support system around me. My Orangetheory family, my friends, and my coaches who continue to challenge me, believe in me, and push me a little harder every class, all while making the journey so much FUN. You all have played such a huge part in helping me discover what I’m capable of. 🧡

And what makes this weekend even better? I get to take on this challenge alongside my bestie and Survivor wifey, @mellyxoo Melissa! ❤️ Someone who pushes me, motivates me, and reminds me every day that we’re capable of so much more than we think. I couldn’t imagine a better person to share this experience with!

I’m heading into this weekend ready to make memories, spend time with some amazing friends, embrace the nerves, and push past another boundary of what I thought was possible.

A year ago, I wouldn’t have believed I’d be here. Today, I can’t wait to see what I can do.

Here’s to 300 classes, showing up for yourself, and never putting limits on what you’re capable of.

Made my way to French Camp, MS for the second year in a row to compete against 99 people in a 24 hour game with no sleep, no food outside of rewards, and fierce competitors vying for $2000. Last year, I made it to the final 3. This year, I wasn’t as lucky, but did I have as much fun? Absolutely.

Shout out to all the old friends I got to play with again and the new friends I met along the way. My favorite part about what @phmackk has created is the bonds that last beyond the game.

Special shoutout to @sjmenzel who competed this year too and made it to the top 18. I had as much fun playing as I did watching her play. She killed it and I couldn’t have been any prouder ☺️

I’d roadtrip anywhere if it means I get to hang with @tiffycrazycool, @tevin.m.davis, @hautekatur, @davidcjelinsky, @theyoungknight, @quintaviusburdette, and @r.r.monty again 🪄

@fca_childsplay was a short-lived experience but one I’ll long remember.

@phmackk - grateful for the chance to play. Loved you on Survivor, but appreciate you a million times more after this past weekend. Your heart and soul shone through every piece of this game - and it was incredible to witness you in your element.

To the Survivors - most especially my friend and fellow Richmonder @tevin.m.davis - your presence raised the stakes exponentially and you are all such wonderful humans.

To my @survivorrva alums - @doctaalovee and @andrew.herk - y’all KILLED it. I’m so proud of both of you and glad this brought us back together. To my @survivalchallenge_ alums - KING @nswart_ and @mellyxoo @elizaspop - so great catching up.

To all those I came across in the game - thank you for the conversations and time spent. Y’all had me so convinced I was going to go far in this game until I realized I’m just one unlucky duck.

Guess I’ll stick to Survivor. Squid Game is hard ;)
