Two years ago I filmed myself putting together my first DIY 10-inch mono vinyl for Phases. And now they're fancy 12-inch pressings. How cool! Thanks Stebbing 🌌 by @melodramatic_em

My new single Later will release alongside the Phases 12" vinyl on the 9th of October. It is Track 9 on the record, and second song on Side B after Single Girl Era. I wrote it in 2024 while reflecting on society's habit of offering shallow solutions to deep rooted problems. I had no idea it'd still feel equally as relevant today. The structure of the song is bold for me, here you can hear the bones of one of my favourite moments. It took me a long time to feel comfortable with my lyrics and find the right build and release in my production. In a way it has been one of my hardest songs to date. I really really hope you enjoy it.

Ok'd the test pressing on this pretty blue vinyl (the proper ones will be black sorry!) I've checked test pressings for other people and for my mastering work before, but never for my own vinyl on a proper press and 150 copies - so nerve wracking! Cool to hear the setup in quality, as much as I love a bit of DIY by @melodramatic_em

Presenting the opening song of my new Phases 12” Vinyl coming out on the 9th of October! I’m not releasing any new new music this year, so I thought I’d finally chip away at a long simmering idea - to complete some previously unfinished Phases tracks and release a full length vinyl.

A huge thank you to @alikburns for creating this visualiser for Phases Intro. I'm so grateful for your help and beautiful work!

Pre-orders for the vinyl are open now on my Bandcamp, and at your favourite local store in the coming days. If you have purchased a Phases 10” Mono Vinyl please send through a picture along with the number written on the inside of the vinyl jacket for a discount code on the Phases 12” Vinyl.

It’s an exciting and scary time. Thank you to my mum and dad for supporting this pressing, and Collective and Stebbing for being so great to work with during the process so far. by @melodramatic_em
