Beautiful Ina 🐶

Another one from the shoot at the river in the Ardennes, this one was shot a few hours later with more sun. And it’s a different atmosphere immediately.

I have so many beautiful photos from that morning that I honestly don’t know which one to share first.

Throwback to this magical, misty morning shoot in the Ardennes this summer. I was so hoping for mist to rise above the river, and my wish came true.

I hope to return soon and maybe repeat this shoot but with autumnal vibes, but I think the water in the river might be to high by than. Because however beautiful this location is, the water was extremely low because of the drought.

Autumn mood incoming 🍂 🐿️🍁🍄‍🟫 I love autumn, it’s one of my favorite seasons. The world slowly turning orange, beautiful walks or huddling inside with a blanket watching Harry Potter movies.

There are limited spots available for autumn shoots and October is almost fully booked already. I think autumn colors will set in early this year. So don’t wait to long!

Hello there! This is me and my dog Tess. Enjoy this rare sight because I rarely share photos of myself and there’s several reasons for that:

1. I don’t have a lot of professional photos of myself. These photos were taken by my boyfriend Saturday when we planned to go for a walk in the beautiful heather. Everytime we do something like this, I bring my camera but in the end I never take photos.

2. I don’t have time to edit photos of myself, clients always come first. Although this time I indulged myself for once and decided to edit these in between. Sorry peeps, I’ll be back on your galleries as soon as possible.

3. My dog is notoriously difficult to photograph and I always need one of my pets next to me during photos. It is said that the Weimaraner is supposed to be one of the prettiest dogs to exist, well she’s pretty as long as there’s no camera pointed at her. I will share bloopers of this shoot very soon. This shoot she was actually cooperating very well, but she does not like looking in the camera as you can see! She always closes her eyes. For some dogs a lens pointed at them is very ‘aggressive’ and they try to deflect that.

Shout out to my boyfriend for taking these photos 🥰

The King is dead, long live the King.
Quincy went to sleep on the 26th of August. He went well, after a hot, sunny morning filled with his favourite snacks. 🍊🌿🍪

After a long time weighing and debating I decided to let him go. We were toeing the line of chronic pain for a while, and when I got Quincy I promised him he would never be in pain, he would always be loved and he would always remain in his dignity.

We had seen our horizon get smaller and smaller with each injury he sustained, going from “the world is our oyster” to “you will be Alfie’s first pony and be retired”. This past winter was not good and I quickly knew I wouldn’t put him through another one.
So we spent the summer enjoying the heat and the sun, eating all of the oranges and cuties I could find for him, having some last photoshoots together and just spending undemanding time with each other.

Horse people understand. Your horse might not be the best horse, they might not have the best bloodlines or conformations, but they are YOUR horse. And that makes them the BEST horse.

Æon de Quincewold. Named for an eternity of love. Named after my favourite childhood books.

Charlotte, Finn and Mistique on a beautiful summer morning between the flowers 🌺 🌼🪻

A little bit of chaos, sunshine, some flowers and lots of love were the ingredients that made for these beautiful images. And I have many more to share from this shoot because it was so versatile. Different settings, different moods, the horses just being horses or playing with Charlotte and sometimes posing.

This little pug is just soooo…. Cute doesn’t quite cut it. I don’t know but I want to squish and cuddle her 😂

Her name is Marie-Jeanne, and I think it really fits her.

But unfortunately another case of life being really unfair and she doesn’t have long to live anymore.

So when her owner send me a message 2 weeks ago for a goodbye shoot, I immediately made room for them. As you all know I had to let Lady go two months ago and I was in the same situation as them, and I’m still eternally grateful for @inajafarkphoto to come extremely last minute to Belgium for a goodbye shoot with Lady.

But for now, enjoy some photos of this cute smugly wugly squish puggsy, Marie-Jeanne 🥺🥹 and give her some love because I know insta hates it when I post dog photos 😭

I’m just in awe with this horse, Æon de Quincewold who’s owned by @prefuturedreaming

I’ve never seen a lot of chestnut PRE’s and honestly I think he’s the first one I’ve seen in real life! Wish I met him sooner 😭

Unfortunately life is being really unfair and his body is failing him, his owner has to let him go pretty soon. So we did some last photoshoots to remember him by and this magnificent beast is etched in my memory.

How to ever get enough of this photoshoot with Anne & Skip? Well you just don’t and you know what? I’ll even be going back to them for a private workshop for @sanderijn.debruin.fotografie in September.
