I'm always especially proud of our IMG clients who take circuitous routes but still get to their goal of a match. This VIP IMG Residency Match Application Accelerator client flew thousands of miles from home to Cuba -- and in a few weeks, they will fly thousands of miles from work to begin their first day of residency! Inside the IMG Residency Match Application Accelerator, we help ambitious IMGs prepare a match application that gives them the best possible odds of matching to their dream specialty and program. So very proud of the legacy of supporting IMGs in the #Match for 10 years! This is a small fraction of our clients. Many of our clients refer us (we've grown exponentially by simple word of mouth, but only some of them write us public testimonials although they share in private they're ecstatic about their match; and a proud, brave few share photos. We've supported: πŸ‘ IMGs with 250s and IMGs with 220s πŸ‘πŸ‘ IMGs with mainly A's and IMGs who tripped, fell, and got back up in medical school πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ IMGs who have QUITE the story to tell and IMGs who feel like nothing is special about them because life's been good πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ IMGs who went to medical school in Barbados, Jamaica, Trinidad, Iran, Ireland, Canada, Grenada, Nigeria (and a few AMGs, because why not?! :)) πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ IMGs who were applying for the first time and IMGs who were on their fourth attempt πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ IMGs who have never failed a thing in their life, and IMGs who failed multiple Steps multiple times πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ IMGs who have matched into anesthesiology, pediatrics, psychiatry, internal medicine, family medicine, general surgery πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ IMGs whose life philosophy is I work to invest in my growth, and IMGs who found it super hard to invest in our support πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ IMGs who applied to 10-20 programs in one specialty and IMGs who applied to 120 programs across 3 specialties πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ IMGs who are dual US citizens and IMGs with green cards (a few) and many FMGs who start out thinking being an FMG is a disadvantage... πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ It's been quite a growthful and joyful ride! If you're ready to create an application that'll give you the best possible odds of matching for #Match2024, send us a DM with the word "MATCH". Our regular season closes in a matter of days and Express fees will apply. #MemorableEssay #internationalmedicalgraduate #NRMPmatch #Caribbeanmedstudent #Caribbeanmedschool by @memorableessay

Own your story and tell it. You don't need to be perfect to match, you just need to communicate clearly and confidently the unique value you bring to your program. . . #MemorableEssay #medschooldiaries #medschoolprobs #CaribbeanMedSchool#USMLEStep1 by @memorableessay

There are seven tools that I teach to clients who desire to stand out. Two of the most important ones are Clarity and Authenticity. I don’t mean you should say anything and everything that comes to your mind. I am not saying bring up topics that are hot-button political topics. I am not saying you should use your interview as a time to advocate and proselytize. I do mean don’t try to present as who you are not. Message us INTERVIEW if you want support for your interview prep. . . #ResidencyApplication#MedicalSchool #InternationalMedicalGraduate #ERAS2027 #Match2027 by @memorableessay

Tell me about yourself is a question you must be able to answer in your sleep! Fully leverage your response to this question by weaving in your messaging so the listener immediately knows the unique value you would add to their program. . . #Interviews #PersonalStatement #MedicalSchool #CaribbeanMedSchool #IMGMed by @memorableessay

Interview prep begins long before the interview prep. Interview prep begins when you're creating your personal statement. From there, the branding and messaging you create are carried over to your interview. I was talking with a client who gushed about learning directly from people who make Formula 1 cars. His engineering coursework, while robust and extremely valuable, can only provide so much. I have walked the road of competing for highly selective admissions several times, and I am supporting him on his journey to do the same. But I have not walked every road in life. So I encourage clients to constantly build relationships with people who have walked the exact path they want for themselves. One of the most important and invaluable things that people with a lived experience can give to you is perspective. They will tell you things that you absolutely will not know without having lived it. If you haven’t reached out lately to anyone who is doing what you want to do in the future, take this as your sign to find someone to reach out to. . . #NRMPMatch #PersonalStatement #MedicalSchool #CaribbeanMedSchool #IMGMed by @memorableessay
