Everything is hidden behind the morning fog. The lake seems to have no end, and we cannot see what lies beyond.

Isn’t life sometimes like this too?
We may not always see clearly what is ahead, but that does not mean the path is gone.

Just as the fog eventually lifts, perhaps life reveals itself little by little, in its own time.

This morning, I begin the day quietly, trusting what I cannot yet see. 🤍

An evening view from our study.
Watching the sky slowly turn gold, pink, and red over Lake Washington.
A quiet reminder to stop for a moment and simply enjoy the beauty around us. 🌅✨

We have seen so many sunsets over the lake, but tonight felt different. - No Filter! Nature is just showing off!

The layers of clouds, the glowing colors, and the sun slowly disappearing behind the Olympic mountains—it was simply breathtaking.

No two sunsets are ever the same.
What a beautiful reminder to stop for a moment and just look. 🌅❤️

From fishing to dinner in 30 seconds.
We watched a grey heron catch its meal — simple, swift, and quick.

Today, while on our one-hour beach walk, we found a family of Canada geese with goslings.
One family had seven, another had six, and another had five. They already lost a few babies, and it made me sad. Still, it is always good to see newborns.
Everywhere was green, and it was such a pleasant, almost summer-like day. Oh, we were happy to see six turtles basking on the floating logs.
