Was having a little fun, sent the snippet only to my mom (my biggest fan, as moms are) who then shared it on Facebook (as moms do).
Ten years later, I’m now sharing it here on the gram. 💙

Throwback to a Saturday snippet-serenade circa 2018 🎶
I first sang this song when I attended AMDA (American Musical and Dramatic Academy) in NYC in ’98. Although I had to sing it over one bazillion times, or so it seems, it’s still one of my forever favorites 💙

Volume up to hear a snippet of a song I wrote and sang…a behind the scenes moment of writing, drawing, and daydreaming during these lovely winter times ❄️💙 @artofjulie

Fire escape singing 🎶 I took this video for my mom when it began snowing earlier today. It may not be Christmas, but I’m a winter gal and always grateful when it’s not a hot, humid, NYC summer. All that’s missing are chestnuts roasting on an open fire escape.
Video: how it started

I almost didn’t post this.
Old insecurities, new songs, no strategy.
But it’s Christmas, it’s a nine year again, and I’m singing.
That feels like enough.
