ARTIST SPOTLIGHT // Mengtists x Sippapas | Bangkok, TH
LIVE AV — TDBKK VOL. 2

Mengtists x Sippapas bring a live A/V set to TDBKK Vol. 2.

Mengtists (Theerawat K., b. 1989, Bangkok) is a new media artist and educator crafting immersive realities at the collision of code, sound, and light. Through live audiovisual performances driven by generative systems, he investigates the shifting boundaries of human perception and memory. His practice dissolves the divide between the visual and the sonic, transforming physical architecture into fluid, data-driven landscapes that challenge how we experience presence.
@mengtists

Sippapas Thienwiwat (b. 2006) is a Bangkok-based composer, digital artist, and curator whose music and sound arts challenge the notion of post-acousmaticism by adopting technology as raw compositional material. His works have been performed across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, with collaborations including BEAST, OSSIA New Music, and TACET(i) Ensemble. He is President of the Thai ElectroAcoustic Music Society (TEAMS).

🌶️ CAN A DISH SPEAK LIKE WINE?

SAOLEA × ARIA EKASILAPA × MENGTISTS
presents LET THE WINE TALK

At Saolea, Thai-American flavors meet the language of wine tasting: appearance, aroma, taste and finish.

Aria Ekasilapa and Mengtists deconstruct Saolea’s dishes into component parts, turning each ingredient into its own note through still illustration and generative motion.

Featured dishes:
🥩 24-Hour Slow-Cooked Beef Tongue
🦪 Hokkaido Scallops with Black Truffle
🪷 Lotus Root Chips with Larb Seasoning
