This is a mirrored version of a pen & ink I did based on a really terrifying nightmare…I literally was pulling my own organic matter out of my mouth like taffy..eventually my insides were floating next to me…as dreams go..I later was surrounded by cats and squirrels….u know…weird sh*t!!!... #penandink #nightmares #drawing @dianthvsmusic by @mentalben69

New #penandink #drawing.. I typically draw a lot in coffee shops or til 2am in bed if I’m finishing one… this started out as a quick portrait sketch @insomniacoffee, from there it went crazy…no pencil, no sketching just straight pen work!!.. #hairless_catstagram #erotictarot #art taken in Insomnia Coffee Company by @mentalben69

I did these drawing originally with the idea of AI trying to copy the human face. In the process, traces of the reproduction bring in other elements of beauty, like flowers and other elements of nature. This idea is highlighted in the movie #annihilation .i love the band @edgeofparadise and one question @margarita.monet asked me once… “what do you think of AI?” I thought this was interesting as she does a lot of very cool practical paintings and sculptural elements but also embraces AI to a certain extent as well. So these images are me thinking about #ai #penandink one copying the other in a cycle also mixed in with a rock album cover art angle…these drawings were done with no pre-sketch or preliminary pencil work..literally a blank page followed by straight ahead pen work!!.. by @mentalben69

WIP #penandink …I’m doing a series of these drawings without doing a sketch first or any light pencil work as a guide. It’s literally starting with a white piece of paper and going in straight to inking!!..the piece grows and evolves day to day. #art #drawing #fantasyart @micron_penart …oh ya..there are no mess ups, just an occasional drop of latte or a bit of cinnamon roll icing. by @mentalben69

These are some Photoshop renderings I did for a horror themed @crocs project. These were used as a backdrop to a miniature cul-de-sac @circa1964 created. This was a fun and challenging project as my digital art had to match up perfectly with Mike’s set in perspective and with all the same lighting as the practical elements. #photoshop #miniatureset #horrorfilms #setdesign by @mentalben69
