💚 INSIDE OUT DAY 2026 💚

Today, the Men Together lads turn their tops inside out in support of @ifucareshare Inside Out campaign.

The message behind it is simple but incredibly important:

Get what’s on the inside, out.

We can’t always see what someone is going through. A mate can turn up, have a laugh, joke and seem absolutely fine — while carrying something completely different on the inside.

That’s why conversations matter.

Ask your mate how he is. Ask him twice. Give him the space to talk, and more importantly, listen.

Turn it inside out. Start a conversation. Speak up. Listen.

📊 Some statistics for you…

✅ 173 attendances across our activities this week

✅ 225 men have attended at least one activity since we launched in February

✅ 387 members across our WhatsApp communities

✅ 113 activities delivered since our launch

What started as an idea to bring men together has grown into something truly special. More conversations, more connections, more support, and more men finding a place where they belong.

Thank you to everyone who turns up, gets involved, and helps make this community what it is.

We’re doing something special here. by @mentogethercic

🎱 Last Night’s Pool Night! 🎱

A fantastic evening with 19 lads coming together for a night of laughs, pool, and a few drinks.

We were also delighted to welcome two new members to the group for the first time. It was great to see the smiles on their faces and have them join us for the evening.

We hold our pool night once a month at the amazing Kitt’s Pool Room & Bar Durham in Durham City Centre, and we can’t thank them enough for their continued support.

A special thank you to Kitt’s as well for hosting a charity hamper over the last month in aid of our friends at If U Care Share Foundation. Together, we raised an incredible £80!

If you’re in Durham or nearby and looking for a great night out with friends, we highly recommend Kitt’s Pool Rooms.

🏆 Pool Night Results 🏆

Semi-Finals:
• Lee Taylor vs Neal McDonald
• Dan Winyard vs Richard Moore

Final:
• Lee Taylor vs Dan Winyard

🥇 Winner: Lee Taylor

🎁 Hamper Winner:
• Mick McCarthy

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made it another brilliant night. We look forward to seeing you all again next month!

New activity tonight — basketball! 🏀

Harder work than we expected, but we came away feeling like we’d had a brilliant workout. Ten lads, 5 v 5, and it finished in a draw!

Well done to everyone involved 👏 by @mentogethercic

Tonight’s footy saw 4 new lads join us — and that’s the biggest win of the evening.

Introducing more men to our group and showing them what we’re all about is what matters most. We know attending for the first time isn’t always easy, so it’s fantastic to see our current members making everyone feel so welcome 👏 by @mentogethercic

Something a bit different from our men today! Thanks to recent funding, we were able to take 9 of our lads to a rifle range — and for some of them, it was the first time meeting each other!

They all had a brilliant time at Insights Air Range. A huge thank you to the team there! 😊

5-a-side league tonight. We had two teams out on the pitch against some tough opposition—14 lads, a good run around, and a bit of football. What more could you ask for? by @mentogethercic
