Friday. My first birthday without you, Dad. 💚

Today is a tough one. It’s the first time in my life I won’t get a birthday text, a call, or a catch-up with my dad, Jimmy. Losing him to suicide changed everything for my family, and days like today bring all those emotions right back to the surface.

But instead of letting the day swallow me up, I’m channeling it into momentum.

🚨 WE ARE SO CLOSE! 🚨We are currently at £4,883 raised—meaning we are just £317 away from hitting the massive £5,200 milestone! 🤯 Let's smash it today!

👉 Turn the volume up to hear a snippet of my chat on BBC Radio Newcastle talking about my dad Jimmy and "52 for 52"

A huge thank you to BBC Newcastle, Simon Pryde and Kelly Scott for giving me a platform to share the 52 for 52 journey. Seeing this feature sit on the BBC Sounds homepage makes me incredibly proud, and I know Dad would be too.

Also a big Shoutout to the brilliant @philclarke and the lads from @mentogetherdurham for the incredible Jimmy McLeod Memorial Cup match—a massive day for raising vital local awareness. ⚽️🫶

Every single penny raised goes directly to the team at @ifucare_share to fund immediate, life-saving mental health intervention care right here in the North East!

🎁 WANT TO GIVE A BIRTHDAY GIFT TO THE CAUSE? 🎁 Help us break the £5,200 barrier today. The link to donate to the JustGiving page is at the top of my bio.
