"In the Stillness of the Morning"
Spent last week with a friend and surrounded by the beauty of Lake Tahoe. John Muir called the Sierras "the range of light". In this in-between time that brackets the end of summer vacations and the not-yet start of winter snow sports, the trails were quiet and we easily found corners of solitude.

Our first event: AMBIENT, was so, so beautiful. It went even better than we imagined and people really felt safe and comfortable to just BE.

We played a variety of instrument combinations (+ voice) and I also got the play a little handpan concert (mic'd for the first time) toward the end of the night 🛸✨🌟

Here's a little segment of the handpan concert 👽

Today was the first time I've collaborated with Sasha... And it was absolute, pure magic flow ✨ While she was guiding nidra with her soothing voice, I brought my sound healing magic, and together we held space for 7 beautiful souls 🙏

It was the first (and definitely not the last) time I've done something like this in nature, in beautiful Gozo, on the ancient limestone rocks by the sea in Zebbug ❤

Here's a short snippet of me playing my beautiful Eb La Sirena 17 by Meraki.. And what better way to play Sirena then by the sea 🌊🧜‍♀️ The more I play her the more i feel the connection to these islands... After all...The legend of the Siren Calypso is meant to have occurred on these lands ❤

I'm super grateful for all that life is bringing me and feel like it's only the beginning of many beautiful wonderful things to come 🌟

As part of the handpan retreat in Stolzenhagen, near Berlin, @seminarhaeuser_unteresodertal , we offered an evening sound journey. This beautiful space, an old converted cowshed, has amazing acoustics, and the atmosphere was dreamlike, enhanced by the rain that fell intermittently on the high roof. What a magical and unforgettable moment! Playing the handpan to help people relax and let go, filled me with joy and gratitude…Thank you @insidepai for your support and your wonderful voice, and Thanks to @merakinstruments for this amazing instrument—I’ll never part with it.#soundhealing #handpanmusic #meditation #merakinstruments #handpanretreat by @merakinstruments

Testing out the @hollylandtech Lark Max 2! 🔊👇

Here is a quick sound test showcasing how it captures the rich tones of the HandPan:

🎙️ @hollylandtech Lark Max 2

🏠 Home recording, live performance, completely unedited audio

Personally, I think this is one of the best gears for capturing HandPan music. it makes so much EASIER to record the true essence of the instrument anywhere, without worrying about the environment.

Can’t wait to test it out in different settings and locations!

個人的には、より簡単に映像も音質も求めてる人向けにベストな選択の一つかと思いました。

Field Recording

Sampleの曲は、絶賛製作中で完成度20%

Performed as a guest artist at the @otsu_jpn event!

Even with the heavy rain, the venue was packed out. Rocking the stage with delicious Japanese Shochu -OTSU- and absolute good vibes was the best.
The improv collab with @no_zo_mi_co -san was so inspiring, also huge thank you to everyone who came out! 🙏✨

From Kumamoto to Tokyo. Huge respect to @otsu_jpn for representing Japanese culture. Their Shochu is seriously amazing, so you’ve definitely got to try it! 🥃
