A rare and humbling evening at Merci.

Chef Thomas Keller and his remarkable team graced our dining room last night, and it was the deepest honor to serve them.

For Chef Michael, whose admiration for Chef Keller has shaped more than two decades of his culinary life, the moment held a quiet, unforgettable weight.

With gratitude for your gracious presence and the example you continue to set, Chef- thank you for inspiring all who strive for excellence at the table.

What a night! 🔥

We had an incredible time getting to host @mercichs for Social Club Vol. 3 here at Shokudô yesterday evening. Arigatō to @chefmzentner and the team behind Merci for a night full of passion, technique, and a one-of-a-kind menu we'll never forget.

A few months back after finding out our great friends at @mercichs were nominated for the @beardfoundation Awards- Best New Restaurant in the US, we knew exactly what to do! After an exceptional meal at @mercichs shared with the team from @ateliermunro last Fall, @ateliermunro graciously offered to custom make @chefmzentner a new tuxedo commemorating the special moment.
