We're all smiles because of our brand new DEXA machine! DEXA itself isn't new to Mercy Pittsburg, but we recently upgraded the machine. If you didn't know, DEXA is a dual-energy x-ray machine that we use to assess bone strength and help identify the risk of osteoporosis and fractures. We've got good news and interesting news. The good news is that we'll be making some repairs to our sidewalk and other exterior concrete this week. The interesting news is that means the main entrance to the hospital will be blocked for most of Wed., Oct. 7, starting at 7 a.m. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate the community planning to use any of our other entrances to the building for the day. If you're coming to see us Monday morning (Sept. 28), the front entrance to the hospital will be blocked from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. A large dishwasher for the cafeteria will be getting delivered and installed.
