My spoken word poem: “To Kiss Wounds”

To kiss wounds:
A holy encounter
sought four by those of spirit
who ached to incarnate and
be wounded only to feel
the kiss
that would heal
the depth
of love
they would feel
the waves of grace
that would seal
them back into the remembering
of our truest nature:
as ones who
mingle earth with
heaven.

I am SO full of gratitude for @christinajoy.us and all that I’m learning through @edm.yoga!! 🧘🏻‍♀️💕Learning how to down-regulate before bed has been such a game-changing powerful tool! One tool is called Bhramari Pranayama or bee breath 🐝 It activates a parasympathetic state in the nervous system and stimulates the vagus nerve to calm you down. September, what a turn of a leaf,
a growing pain
And I dream that was sweet.
I crawled across your pages often so blindly
Weaving with truths
Onto new paths inside me.
Awakening freedom and my soul within
Her fire burning free,
Her waters like Yin.
