28 🌹✨

birthdays are one of those rare moments when time seems to stand still. you’re frozen temporarily in a fleeting moment when one cycle is ending and a new one beginning. the past and the future intersecting, creating tension between who you’ve been and who you are becoming. a beautiful opportunity to reflect on how far you’ve come, and the journey that still lies ahead.
and in my reflection, I saw that I AM a reflection.

i’m not one to give speeches (I have an awful case of stage fright) but this year I spoke at both my birthday dinner and party. I spoke from my heart and every word that danced out of my mouth spoke to how wonderful the people around me are—every person a divine mirror. in the open heartedness, the playfulness, the authentic expression, the passion, the aliveness, the kindness and generosity in the eyes of those looking back at me, I saw myself clearly. I saw how living by the truth that WE create our reality has played out in my life. I saw how alchemizing all the grief and lessons life has thrown my way has all been for fine tuning. this year has been about leaning into love more than ever before. love for life, for my self, love for others, for source creation.

28 is beginning to feel like a settling. a sense of clarity and wisdom blossoming more and more every day, showing me it’s lovely petals. a grounded knowing of who I am and becoming more solid in what I truly want in this silly little existence. remembering that my dreams are not too big! and feeling excited for this next year and all that is unfolding with great design and mystery

This last year has been challenging for so many reasons, and I’m so grateful to celebrate my birthday at a table full of souls who have carried me through it. It took me a long time, but I’m so glad to have finally found my people 🧡
