It's been a real roller-coaster of a year, but I've been so happy with school and the art I've made! Feels like I've been growing a ton and really developing my instincts.

I modeled this in Maya for my Environmental Modeling class at @animschool , under the wonderful instruction of @justinahnatowicz ! I really enjoyed challenging myself on this one, and looking forward to coming back and adding more to it!

I also totally fell in love with Etienne's art style! So much personality in all of his pieces 🖤

Cammy from Street Fighter, as a stop motion puppet.

I came across @adeenagrubb 's work this summer, and her puppet style really inspired me! I've always been a huge fan of stop motion, and simulating different fabrics felt like a unique way to expand on my Cammy model from earlier this year.

Done during my latest class at @animschool , LookDev & Grooming. Massive thanks to @j.s_3d for being such a great teacher and imparting so much knowledge on texturing, grooming, and rendering!

And again credit to @dreelrayk for his amazing concept art.

Cammy from Street Fighter

Based on a concept by @dreelrayk , I really loved the remix of her Alpha series look and her classic design! It was really so much fun working on this, and especially pushing my anatomy skills!

Done for the Advanced Production Modeling class at @animschool under the instruction of @nina_modelling3d . Nina's guidance and feedback was invaluable!

Sculpting & texturing done in Zbrush, clothing & retopology done in Maya, rendering in Arnold.

By far my most ambitious art project to date, but so so happy with the final result!

Based on amazing art by @plugby , and under the excellent instruction of @thechristopherwright over at @animschool . What an absolute privilege it was to study under him, I learned so much not just technically but also on art & design as a whole.

This was my first time working in zbrush, and first time making a character of a higher fidelity than PS1 era. Looking forward to doing more sculpting in the future!

Sculpted and textured in Zbrush, additional modeling in Maya, and rendered with Arnold.
