Discover the creative soul of @merioone through the eyes of Touch The Wood.

Merioone is an Italian artist and designer whose work began in the world of street art, blending lettering and animal characters from the very beginning.

In 2015, during a stay in New York, he created Fishes Invasion: an urban art project built around a stylised fish, appearing through handmade posters and stickers across the city. What started on the streets of New York has since travelled to almost ninety cities around the world.

Working by hand with acrylics and spray paint, Merioone creates art that is simple, accessible and open to spontaneous connections with the people and places around it. Alongside his urban practice, he also develops educational projects for children, seeing art as something to be experienced and shared.

“Don’t Sleep.”

Tibet wasn’t just a journey, it was inspiration.

Its authenticity, its spirituality, its colors sparked my creativity and opened my mind.

Tibet is a world waiting to be discovered, a place where you can feel at home and be reborn. ❤️

Drawing at 5,000+ meters in Tibet 🏔️
My first ever mountain-inspired fish.

The mission didn’t go exactly as planned, the altitude headache hit hard, so I couldn’t finish the drawing up there.
But what a place to start it😍
