Sometimes, after a long day of staring at a computer that holds too many demands and being so exhausted I just wanna do nothing but crawl into my tiny home and disappear into depleted disassociation, I remind myself that I’m working hard to live in a place that looks like this. I drive to the beach at 11:00 pm since a post-work nap stole my whole evening. And I breathe in the sea air, listen to the waves, and feel the stillness in a very unsettled world and chaotic life that is moving faster than I’d like. The coast feels like a part of me and I reunite with myself when I return to it. My God, is it only Monday? by @mermarlowe

Took my lunch break at a nearby park and lay down in the grass the way I did often as a child. I forgot how itchy grass is. Am I allergic? I just needed to be in touch with nature basking in sunlight instead of being in touch with my desk basking in screen light. I don’t think we’re meant to live this way! by @mermarlowe

I was recently taken to @unistudios by @lightonmyfeet7 and @californiajen5 as an early birthday gift. I had only been to Universal as a child in Florida when we briefly lived there, so it was a fun experience to see the original version and be a kid again for the day. Doing the studio tour and driving through Wisteria Lane and the sets of Nope and The Good Place was surreal. Thanks for an awesome day, Steph and Jen! 💜 Here’s to being 42!! by @mermarlowe

Took the day off to rest after pouring months of effort into producing a Women’s Business Conference in honour of #InternationalWomensDay. Back to work tomorrow, so I decided to enjoy this beautiful town and take my little fur balls on a sunset walk by the coast.
