Working Families Party members from Lompoc to Los Angeles closed out 2025 in Oxnard for the WFP Holiday Party! (Plus Zohran!) We recognize that the two-party system has failed us and we need a system of government that will prioritize working people over corporate interests. We will be hitting 2026 off strong as we prepare to screen potential WFP Champions in January!

The past three and a half months organizing for @caworkingfamiliesparty have been full of positive experiences meeting activists up and down the Central Coast who want a system of government that represents working people! Tonight, we broke more than 30 people who attended our in-person Oxnard event who actively engaged in growing the Working Families Party in the Central Coast! In 2026, Working Families Party will be aggressively expanding in membership, making polluters pay, expanding tenant protections, allying with other progressive organizations, and much more! The election of Zohran Mamdani to NYC Mayor was no coincidence! Working people are exhausted of our current two-party system, especially after 8 Democratic US Senators sold us out this week! Working Families Party is our solution to fighting the status quo. Message me if you would like to join our listserv or become a dues-paying member!
