I twerk to the sound of insecure men booing me 🥗🥘🎸🎶👁️👄🐱♀️🌈

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I have struggled to write a song I can be proud of for years.

Nothing was ever good enough, clever enough. I would show it to people and immediately see through their feigned interest (even when it wasn't feigned). But something happened the day this poem flew onto paper. My very own little jeux d'esprit. Sometimes when an experience is so powerful, you suddenly find a part of you that you never knew was there, and the rest happens on its own.

"Soft" had a couple of different lives before this band of infinitely talented women were involved. Evelina on the synth, Alana on the flute, and that night Ipek was killing it on the drums, and out of a simple little jam, my firstborn found her sound. I thank the universe every day that I got it on my voice recorder. And that I am lucky enough to be in a band with people I can completely trust to make my ideas better and adorn them perfectly. As they say, "If you're the smartest person in the room, you're in the wrong room".

Thank you to my spectacular @planetyoni gals

I missed you before I even met you and now I'm forced to miss you even more.
Please don't grow up too fast so that I don't miss too much of it, okay?

Making Gözleme

I asked this lady if I could film her and she said yes, but I decided to do so from afar to not be an annoying tourist. She knows the exact amount of dough she needs for the exact circumference of her little table and it takes her all of 2 minutes to make one (often with cheese/ meat and herbs)

Back in April, our lovely trombonist @izar_ag was approached by a television channel from her hometown to participate in a segment on Basque immigrants in Austria. That weekend we had our @spleen_graz concert and they wanted to add us to the segment!

Gracias a @vascosporelmundo y @eitb para este bonito reportaje sobre nuestra ciudad y para empezar un poquito nuestro club de fans en Euskal Herria y España ❤️

After months of struggling with my voice, my belt is finally back. I still have a long way to go with the other issues but it's good to feel like myself again. Keeping me from singing is like not letting horses run, it literally hurts my soul.
Glad to be back 😊❤️

I highly suggest you watch till the end for Enis' hilarious line 😂

And yes I know I came in late at the end, I always do because nobody's gonna stop me from milking that note 💅🏼🤷🏼‍♀️

Thank you for recording @anna_ziener
😘😘😘

Theatercafe remains a place of healing.
For me and many others ❤️
