This message my pastor spoke a few years ago holds so much more weight these days. We’ve been talking about our Story His Glory at church. For 21 years I felt like I was living my best life, until it wasn’t my best life. I didn’t know God’s grace and love was more than what I thought I needed. God was working on my heart when I found my church and allowed God back into my life 9 years ago. Then 4 years ago I fully made the decision to give God all of me; along with an identity that I clung to from the age of 13 to 34. We serve a God of miracles and I’m living proof that the best was and is yet to come for me. There’s so much freedom walking in the Truth of the Word, in His Glory and a peace that truly surpasses all understanding 🤍 Thank you to my Pastor Kevin Gerald for your words during this At The Movies message, love you so much!

“We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.” 🤍

For most of my life, I’ve carried fear around pregnancy. I prayed for the Lord to remove that fear and to make it clear if this was His plan for us, even at my age.

And wow… not only did He give me the assurance that it was time, but it happened a lot sooner than we ever expected.

We are so excited and maybe even more excited that William is finally getting the sibling he’s been asking for!

Forrest and I would love your prayers for the journey ahead and are incredibly grateful for the family and community we have surrounding us.

What a Sunday @championscentre Bellevue! Youth Takeover was something special. From the parking lot to the platform, and everywhere in between, our students led the way.

Couldn’t be more proud of these students. Their faith. Their courage. Their willingness to step up, use their gifts and point people to Jesus.

The Church isn’t waiting on the next generation. They’re here. And they’re ready!

Grateful to be part of a church that doesn’t just think about today, but builds three generations into the future 🙌🏽

I’m forever grateful to my lead pastors @kevingerald and @sheilagerald. Because of their yes to the calling on their life, my life is forever changed. I know the path for them wasn’t easy but their focus to build teams that build the church has never wavered and so many teams are stronger because of it.

Because of you and Team Church Conference, it’s created a space for God to move in my life like I never imagined. Thank you for loving me and your teams so well! It’s an honor and a privilege to now be on staff and be a part of this team!

Leaving my 5th Celebrate Recovery Summit with a grateful heart.

I still remember starting Celebrate Recovery on Zoom 6 years ago during Covid feeling lost, broken, and trying to find my true identity. I was carrying hurts, habits, and hang-ups that left me in some dark places, and I wasn’t sure what freedom could even look like.

As I leave Summit this year, I’m reflecting on how much God has done. On the Monday I left for Summit I celebrated 3 years alcohol-free and 8 months married to my husband. What once felt impossible has become a testimony of God’s faithfulness, grace, and healing.

Celebrate Recovery didn’t just help me find freedom, it helped me discover purpose. Through this ministry, God has opened doors I never could have imagined. From attending my first Summit feeling like I didn’t belong to now serving on the Summit media team and becoming Creatives Director at my Celebrate Recovery back home; I’m overwhelmed by how God can redeem a story. Even more incredible, I found out CR’s from all over the country have shared my testimony video at their CR’s 😭

Recovery isn’t about perfection. It’s about surrender, healing, and allowing God to transform us one step at a time.

Five Summits later, I’m more convinced than ever: freedom is possible, healing is real, and God is still changing lives.

Pastor John Baker would say during communion “I used to drink to forget, now I drink to remember…” that marked me forever. We remember His body and His blood, the ultimate sacrifice for us.

So grateful for this ministry, these people, and the journey that continues.
