Felt so insanely loved yesterday💜

Sometimes I forget that I live in a foreign country with a dude I met in high school (love him). Yesterday was one of those days where I couldn’t stop thinking about my family and friends back home. When I started to feel sad, I looked around and saw a room full of people that God put in my life. 🥹 I love you all SO much!

In the midst of all the planning and prepping I missed taking photos with my dream team who put this all together and made sure all the guest were fed and happy! So big shout out to @ani_nicholson @mitcheleanderson @daniellereneemoody
Could NOT have done ANY of this without you guys! ❤️‍🔥😭

Thank you for showering me and our baby girl with so much love and kindness. I can’t wait for her to meet all of you!

Celebrated our second anniversary with my wife @leoaka2001 and also my granddaughters birthday. My twin daughters were in town from Atlanta and Seattle to help celebrate! Praise God!

TC23: The Church is not dead. In fact, it’s more alive than it’s ever been. The Church is the hope of the world.

So thankful for this past week and all that God has done. I’m thankful for my pastors, for the local Church and all Churches around the world (BTW, my mind was blown on Monday night with stats on how many there really are 🤯).

There were so many amazing moments. I wish I could put into words all of my takeaways, but the gram won’t allow me that many words 😅. But here’s what I know to be true: God’s not done with me yet (“Not Today!”) and we have been called for such a time as this. Something Pastor Kevin said on Wednesday night that I can’t stop thinking about is that we’re about to turn a page and close a chapter that’s been difficult for so many people. A new season is here - a new chapter has begun and I couldn’t be more excited for what’s to come.

LET’S GO TEAM CHURCH! 🙌🏼

TC dump —

I got the honor and privilege to lead worship not only for this conference but for the youth track conference with the most AMAZING people! The rooms were filled with the presence of God, the capital C Church came ready and hungry for the Lord

I met the most amazing people, had God moments with them and have started to build friendships that I know I will need in the ministry journey 🥹

I saw both my Pastors @jasonlwarman and @trevor_ritchie_ be apart of some incredible things, and I was so proud to shout “THATS MY PASTORRRRR”

And most importantly, Jesus. I can’t believe how far He has brought me when I don’t deserve His grace! I’ll never understand how much He loves us. I’m in awe of how He manifested this week! I saw Him in a new way..He revealed things to me. He reminded me of things I lost sight of. He re-aligned my mindset, and lit an even stronger fire in me. And I know there are so many other stories of what God did in the room.

I was in the room. By the grace of God, He allowed me to witness His goodness.

Thank you so much @theteam.church for creating an atmosphere for leaders and the capital C Church to get connected, and refreshed by the Holy Spirit!
I will never forget this week, it has marked my life 🤍🤍

2023 CR Summit Recap! God prompted something in my spirit during a speaker panel about abuse. I realized that the servant-leadership tasks God is calling me to engage, requires me to FIRST take a pro-active approach and deep work on a new level with my own past trauma. More on that in future posts…

DAY ONE: there were so many takeaways from today that I could go home now. And yet there are two more days of power-packed equipping ahead!

DAY TWO: such empowering teaching this week that applies to many areas of life! Please excuse the sweat—it’s been in the 90’s at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California.

DAY THREE: I will never be the same again!

Our vacation officially started this morning and tomorrow, I get to attend Sunday 11am service at the same Saddleback campus where CR was born. I am so excited!
