“i’m just a lonely boy sitting alone
i don’t know what to do
i don’t know what to say
because i’m thinking of you”

a return to the wayward world of k. leimer with “lonely boy,” from the 2014 archival compilation, a period of review 🍳

operating in the underground music scene of the 1970s pacific northwest, self-educated savant k. leimer crafted hypnotic, hushed sound-worlds using a versatile collection of tape machines and inexpensive pawnshop instruments. informed by a delightfully vibrant array of influences — from krautrock giants to the dadaist movement — leimer’s diverse loop-based, often generative compositions unfold with a cooly composed stoicism, at once glacial and gorgeous

directed by ben schechter (@weirddays) and tony lowe (@rainstick_/), the “lonely boy” video features will berman / @meshkimono in a color saturated, kitschy kitchen, toying with a cornucopia of off-kilter culinary delights. captured in an abundance of superimposed sequences, berman’s appearance came at the request of a certain proprietor of rvng, who thought he resembled the young leimer on the cover of a period of review

Watch the official music video for “After All” by @meshkimono - a song inspired by the real life story of the Htoo Brothers, two 9-year old twins who led a series of military strikes across Myanmar and Thailand in the late 90s after forming their mystical “Gods Army”. Filmed at @pilar.texas recording studios in Buenos Aires, watch as Will Berman grows his mustache in the style of the legendary Argentinian rocker Charly Garcia and madness ensues. “Line Cliché” is officially live and streaming on all platforms today. We’re beyond excited to help @meshkimono bring this EP to the world and be along for the ride. Complete with an array of key changes, chromatic movement and lush chord extensions, “Line Cliché” projects Will Berman’s impressively broad range of talent in the studio; an outpouring of arrangement-driven songwriting from the heart of a musician’s musician, polished neatly with glam sheen and rich synth textures. 🗽NYC: Come party with us tonight @union_pool w our friends @talljuan @simondoomband & @caitotupapi - We’ll have a limited selection of records & t-shirts on site. 🌎 Rest of the world: hit the link in our bio to find the goods on Bandcamp. 🔗 🎨: @janedark_dj taken in Brooklyn, New York by @meshkimono
