this piece was so special to me ✨ we got to perform it many times through our previous season of @messengerzdance and being able to watch it a final time from the audience during our show “Waves” was full circle for me ✨

dance is incredible. being able to tell stories, worship through movement + connect w/ others is something I will always love about dance. thank you Jesus for this art and thank you for this dance family! 💛

“tide rays”

a duet I got to create and perform with my dear friend @raleighg.tate for the @messengerzdance company show “WAVES” back in August.

this dance holds a special place in my heart, as it was created as a reflection of the phase of life both of us were experiencing. We created this dance as a reminder to ourselves (and others), to not fight the season God has placed us in, but to rely on Him and remember that He will carry us through.

as we are feeling so excited to be working on pieces for our next show, “T E R R A,” we want to take another moment to reflect on “Waves” from this past season. ✨

thank you Jesus that we can use dance and storytelling as a way to show others of your glory, goodness and love 💛 we pray that others will feel the presence of the Lord through our movement + we pray for those divine encounters with the Holy Spirit ✨

thank you always @immortalized_byvern for your amazing photos ✨

There’s so much about my performance in this that I want to critique and criticize. I was so insecure dancing next to these incredible girls and I felt so unqualified. But if I’ve learned anything this year it’s that I can fall at the foot of His throne broken and messy and He still calls me holy. My worship, although messy and imperfect, is a fragrant offering to Him. So thankful for @messengerzdance for always stretching me and loving on me no matter how weak I am.

🕰️ TEN YEARS AGO!!! 😭 how has it been that long….

Ten years ago we said YES to our very first international trip… traveling to New Zealand to teach workshops and camps across the North Island. Forever grateful for this experience and the connections we made so long ago… ✈️🌏

What started out as a small group of friends that just loved to dance for Jesus and perform locally turned into an actual company who travels, performs + does outreach globally. We would have never imagined this back in 2016… but God already knew what He was doing. 🙌🏻

Thank you Jesus for each opportunity we are given to share of your goodness + love with those we encounter! You are so faithful, never changing + always for us. 🤍

Here’s to more adventures to come ✨
