Matt Bennett. What a fuckin guy. Truly hilarious and just great to be around. 20 years ago a band called Ligeia played at the 14th Ward (now @chromecoffeeworks!) finishing a tour with Misery Signals and hung out for a week before starting a new tour with Ed Gein. In that band was @spliff__burton, and their merch guy @bones_stallone. It made for such a great summer. Eventually those two would join the_Network and in 2008 I flew to the east coast to join them on my first tour. That’s how I met the guys in Gaza when they played a house show together in Champagne, IL, and then Dudefest in Indianapolis. And a lot of you know that connection led me to many tours with those guys eventually as @cultleadermusic. Eventually the_Network played one of the most bonkers sets I’ve ever seen here in Reno in a house called the Batcave. I’d always had so much fucking fun with all of these guys and going through all of these photos made me so thankful that Bennett let me take so many hilarious and fantastic photos of him. In different cities, in the van, and in the cemetery of Virginia City. I’m so thankful for Bennett and that I got to be friends with him. I’ve linked over 100 photos of him in my profile for anyone to save. Please listen to their album Bishop Kent Manning because it’s super underrated and one of my favorite heavy albums. It’s always fun working with @craftreno. Made this design for the wine club tote bag for this month! Feels good to be a little more confident in my lettering, too! I literally texted you just two weeks ago and I’m glad I got to say those things. When I was in college and Hot Damn was out, Every Time I Die was one of my favorite bands. I never would have imagined we’d become friends and I’d end up getting to do shirt designs for ETID. Then when you asked me to make a logo for your new band I had to say yes even though I struggle with logos. Forever thankful for a connection with this amazing dude. Godamn, I was so excited to hang and see you play in November. My heart goes to everyone who knew him, and especially @hana_devore. by @metaljeff

Feels a little weird but decided to post a sort of life update? I’ve officially been diagnosed with ADHD, so I’m hoping this will lead to finding more focus and motivation to be more productive. Both with art and life. That being said my online store is updated with “new” stuff (particularly the keychains, tote bag, and a different shirt design). Direct link is on my page for it! I do still need to update my sticker options though. I would also love to take on album art or shirt designs. I’ve definitely got a lot of bills I need to pay, plus I just love getting to do that stuff. #imamalemodelnotamaleprostitute by @metaljeff

As a pair this is “Two Dope Boyz (In Two Cadillacs)” for the upcoming “Chrome Classics” group art show at @chromecoffeeworks. I’m not really a car guy but then I knew I wanted to do an Ed Roth inspired reaper. Then choosing the right Hearse led me to realize it was the same car used as Ecto 1 so I had to do Slimer driving it, too. I actually had a blast making these and I think I want to do prints…so let me know if you’d be interested. taken in Chrome Coffee Works by @metaljeff
