Wow, what an incredible day! The vision for Method Jiu Jitsu has been years and years in the making and to see it and bring it to life has been overwhelming and makes all of the hard work, struggles, and fights worth it.
Thank you to all of my Lovatos brothers and sisters that made it out to support the grand opening and for being there with me grinding over the years.
Another huge thank you to my brothers @xanderibeirojj and @victorhugojj . I’ve been so lucky to have such amazing friendship/ mentorship/ brotherhood/ and of course the absolute highest level training possible with these GOATs.
Of course, my day one mentor/ brother/ main training partner/ and American legend @lovatojrbjj Not many people are so lucky to have one of the GOATs as a daily instructor and main training partner ever, let alone almost 20 years! I’ve been incredibly blessed to have been through so many ups and downs for both of us and still stay on the mats together no matter what happens. It’s made the biggest impact on the man/ coach/ competitor/ person I am today. I’m very proud of my background and where we come from and what we do and very happy to continue carrying the torch.
Last but not least, thank you to the Tulsa community for your support. The city is amazing and the people are incredible. I took a big leap leaving the comfort of my city to open up the academy somewhere where I didn’t have all of the connections and student base I’ve grown over a decade. It was a huge risk but you guys have made it worth it and I’m so excited to bring what I do and what we at Method Jiu Jitsu are all about to this amazing city.

🚨 Monday, Sept 7 we will be OPEN for Labor Day with a normal schedule of Essentials at 5:30pm and Advanced BJJ at 6:30pm.

Come get some knowledge dropped into your heads as well as some great rounds.

A night of Essentials at Method. Essentials are the first building block. It’s Jiu Jitsu 101 that begins the path to blue belt that’ll give you the foundation upon which you’ll build your game.

You’ll always find plenty of advanced belts as well because you can never be too good at the basics and often times the more advanced you get, the more fundamental you get too 🔨
