I will mark this date on my heart, 04/08/2024, where after 15 years from the release and after 11 years of absence I regained, even better than before, a copy of Metroid Prime Trilogy - Special edition. Yes, because my red Wii Super Mario Bros Edition and I had a tragic story, which may have happened to many gamers... It was practically sold "by mistake", and I still remember that day today, I had a strong desire to replay Metroid Prime 3 after a break, and as soon as I realized that my Wii with Prime Trilogy no longer existed, all the scenes from the Trilogy rushed into my mind with all the memories, all the emotions and memories I felt in the first runs, (for example when I had an irrepressible desire to play Prime 1 after the 3rd grade exams, with a cola and... raw wrustel🤣) feeling so bad that I felt my heart was breaking. From that day I understood everything, I understood that Metroid was a soul that belonged to me before I was born and had to belong to me, a source of energy that fuels the engine of my days. I say that the deepest love was born from a trauma, as written on my profile "unbridgeable", because for all those 11 years I thought about Metroid every day, I downloaded the entire tracklist and created the playlist that I still listen to and update, I informed myself about the lore deeper enough to write a notebook (which I lost), so many things have happened in those years, too many I would say, and Metroid is and will always be what it has always been for me, indescribable. It doesn't matter what happens to the series, be it good (Samus Returns-Dread) or bad (Federation Force, which in my opinion as a spin off I find "nice") I would just like all of us fans and all the fans of this series to have a treatment not better, because I don't expect anything and if Prime 4 failed I would never complain, I would just be disappointed obviously, but let Nintendo pay attention to us. Because we are strong and we are united, we are happy that such a woman exists in the universe after all her suffering and we only want the best for her. From K-2L, my copy of Prime Trilogy💛☀️🔥 #Metroid #MetroidPrimeTrilogy #MetroidPrime by @metroid.pic_

We need to talk about one of the aspects I consider most important in the Metroid series: the Suit and the Arm Cannon💥😍 Without going too much into detail for now, I consider Samus's new suit and Arm Cannon in Metroid Ravenous to be a significant improvement over Metroid Dread in pretty much every aspect!🔥 The white coloring across the Power Suit, Varia Suit, and Gravity Suit in Metroid Dread never really grew on me, to be honest, especially when combined with the red, blue, orange, and purple, along with the bright green of the LEDs😅That said, I've always praised its mechanical/organic design! But this new Varia Suit in Ravenous (and perhaps the suits that come after it?) finally brings Samus back to a color palette that feels more consistent with the series' past. Even though what appears to be the new Power Suit features white coloring, it's still much less prominent than it was in Dread!😆 And the Arm Cannon? DAMN.. they really went all out with this one! It looks absolutely badass! I love finally seeing a bulkier Arm Cannon, more in line with the Prime style and less elongated in its design. But what fascinates me most about these designs is the mystery behind the way they're depicted Because I don't think it's just an artistic choice; I believe it also represents something connected to the very soul of the game being revealed❤️‍🔥 Putting all of that aside, I can't wait to play it! But, as only Metroid can make me feel, I'm not just looking forward to playing it. I can't wait to savor every single moment of this absolute feast!😍 (And finally, get to go through vertical doors again!😆) #MetroidRavenous #2027 #MetroidDread #2021 #NintendoSwitch2 ♥️ by @metroid.pic_

Today October 8, marks the 5-year milestone in Metroid Dread's history!🤩 It struck like a bolt out of the blue on June 15, 2021, during the E3 2021 Nintendo Direct, surprising all of us since it had long been completely off everyone's announcement radar!🔥 📁 It had only ever been vaguely hinted at through a particular incoming log found in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, which read: 📂 Panel 1: "Experiment status report update. Metroid project 'Dread' is nearing the final stages of completion." But a 2nd panel read: "Experiment results unsuccessful. All attempts at using Metroids as a weapon power source have failed." I’m pretty sure that second panel was added to prevent this from being seen as an Easter egg foreshadowing the announcement of a new game! 😆 I think this is one of the coolest things ever in Metroid history! Even though it took 20 years to go from Fusion to Dread, and 14 years from Prime 3 to Dread — that's a seriously long time! Happy Metroid Dread anniversary, everyone, and onward to the next Metroid, Ravenous! 🎉🎊🥂 Only 3 months and 24 days to go! 🔥🔥 #MetroidDread #MetroidRavenous #MetroidPrime3Corruption by @metroid.pic_

I have to admit that the new “Chozo Statue” type boss, like Torizo in Super Metroid, is absolutely massive compared to the latter. I’m really curious to find out why it was given an amiibo, it seems like it’s going to be an important one😎 #Metroid6 #MetroidRavenous #NintendoSwitch2 ♥️ by @metroid.pic_

Dear friends, well! how are you all doing with the wait for Metroid Ravenous since the announcement? Be honest: after that trailer, how excited are you for it from 1 to 10? ARE WE FUCKING HYPED OR NOT?! 😍 Only 4 months left until release, and honestly, that feels absolutely insane! I don't even know how to put it into words, but as a fan, I almost feel privileged by Nintendo after this😂 It’s simply unbelievable! But we have to stay calm… as of the moment I’m writing this post, there are only 117 days, 23 hours, 35 minutes and 57 seconds left until release 🤣👀 LETS GOOOOOO!! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥🍾🌌 with this gorgeous fan art by @maecaart on X✨ #Metroid #Metroid6 #MetroidRavenous #NintendoSwitch2 #Nintendo ☄️ by @metroid.pic_

For me, the Nintendo Switch 2 is the ultimate console, and that directly ties into the Metroid and Metroid Prime series for me. Personally, I’d really love to see the entire series finally become available on this console family!🔥⚒️ #Metroid #MetroidPrime #MetroidPrimeRemastered by @metroid.pic_

I came back to Metroid Prime Remastered after a while 🔥 and it’s crazy how, even though I’ve played it nearly 40 times, it still feels like I’m playing it for the first time💓 I hope that one day Retro Studios remasters Metroid Prime 2: Echoes the way they did with Prime Remastered... but can you imagine it? Prime is the highest peak ever reached in gaming, but Prime 2 reaches an even higher one... mammamia, what an eternal masterpiece. #Metroid #MetroidPrime ☄️ #MetroidPrimeRemastered ☄️✨ #MetroidPrime2Echoes ☯️ #MetrpidPrime2EchoesRemastered ☯️✨ by @metroid.pic_
