37 incredible years later, our one and only Mel is officially retiring and it’s impossible to put into words what she means to all of us here at Metsker Maps!

Mel (or otherwise known as Mel-gyver 😉) has been more than just an employee, she’s been a huge part of the heart and soul that is Metskers. Her knowledge, dedication, and steady presence helped shape Metsker Maps into what it is today, and we truly wouldn’t be here without her.

While we’re going to miss her more than we can say, we’re so grateful for everything she’s given us over the years. We can only hope to carry forward the legacy she helped build and make her proud as we continue on.

After 40 years of manning the helm of Metsker Maps, our manager Skip is officially retiring!

He’s been our compass, our steady hand, and the reason this place feels like more than just a store.

Skip ran Metsker Maps for 40 years and witnessed the world change—from paper maps on shelves to directions in our pockets. Through it all, he kept this place grounded, relevant, and full of heart.

To our one and only Skipper - Thank you for the wisdom, the humor, and for proving that maps (and great leaders) never go out of style.
