Now the waiting game begins. Purified linseed oil, lamp black pigment and ercolano red pigment that Chris had left over. Should be polymerized in a couple days 🤪 taken in Northside by @mgblacksmith

Finished my Irish Gibson stick chair. This chair style was developed by five generations of the Gibson family, who were coopers/chairmakers in County Cavan, Ireland in the 18th and 19th century. Thanks to @lostartpress for the instructions and @t__r__a__n__t for putting up with all my squeaking tools. by @mgblacksmith

Progress on the Irish stick chair. Tenons trimmed. Legs leveled and cut to length. Seat angle set. Still a bit of clean up to do but good enough for tonight. I went with three fingers for the slope, seems to sit fairly comfortable. We’ll see once we get arms and a back on it 🤪 taken in Northside by @mgblacksmith
