POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
REACH Founder & Visionary, @mgerall , was honored to speak at the MSC Fall Leadership Conference about selfless service, leadership, and the power of meaningful relationships.

Max shared the story of Mama Mel, a dining employee at Sbisa Dining Hall who noticed a struggling student and took the time to make him feel seen, valued, and like he mattered. Her simple act of kindness became the inspiration behind REACH.

At the heart of REACH is the belief that meaningful relationships can build stronger communities. It starts with taking the time to connect with the people we see every day and making sure they know they matter.

A special shoutout to @madison.keenann , Vice Chair, and @liv.d_d_ , Delegate, for helping organize and put together such a great event! by @mgerall

I haven’t posted in a while… but THIS moment deserves to be seen:

At the 2025 @hopeglobalforum during an inspirational speech, I had the honor of introducing my friend Mrs. Kritina Mock Palmer, a @txreachproject graduate who went from a dreamer to business owner.

She didnt just start a business. She owns her childcare center. She owns the building in downtown Navasota. And she’s already expanding to another location.

Resilience and determination looks like her. Generational wealth and hard work looks like her. HOPE looks like her.

Kritina, your story proves that the people who keep our communities running are the same people who will one day lead them.

This is just the beginning… join us as we continue to make our world a better place! @operationhopehq @wellsfargo @square @truist @hilton taken in Signia by Hilton Atlanta by @mgerall

I am honored and humbled to have represented The Brazos Valley, @tamu, and most importantly, @txreachproject at @operationhopehq @hopeglobalforum

Being on a global stage, talking about the incredible work we're doing at REACH and the future of wealth creation was both inspiring and a powerful reminder of the positive change we can create together.

A huge shoutout to my amazing co-panelists, Eric So and Nadia Van De Walle, our incredible moderator Brian Betts, and of course, my mentor and role model, Mrs. @jenavroscoe for her unwavering support and guidance. 🙏

The budding partnership between REACH and Operation HOPE is something I’m incredibly proud of. Together, we’re helping drive meaningful change and empowering communities to create their own paths to success.

To all the future #changemakers out there: Keep pushing forward, stay passionate, and always remember the power of community. Your contributions matter, and you too will have the opportunity to shape the future for the better. taken in Signia by Hilton Atlanta by @mgerall

Thank you from the depths of my heart for this incredible honor—the "12 under 12" Young Alumni Award from our beloved Texas A&M University. To say that I am both humbled and elated would be an understatement.

First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to the selection committee and those who nominated me. I still cant believe that y'all consider me to be among the exceptional individuals who have received this recognition over the years. I am truly honored to be in the company of such accomplished and inspiring Aggies who have made such significant contributions, to our alma mater and our respective fields, within the first twelve years of our post-graduate journeys. @aggienetwork

Texas A&M holds a special place in my heart—it is where I not only received a world-class education but also imbibed the core values that guide my path every day. The Aggie Spirit of leadership, excellence, integrity, loyalty, respect, and selfless service has been a guiding light in my personal and professional endeavors.

I am truly humbled and elated to receive the '12 under 12' Young Alumni Award from Texas A&M! 🎓👍 Grateful for the incredible journey and the Aggie Spirit that guides me. This honor isn't just mine—it's a celebration of the entire Aggie community and the entire @txreachproject team.

Jillian Warriner, Coque Johnson Olaosebikan, Kristen Lachelle, Gabriela Barberena, Will Brown, Debbie Stevens Eller, Jena Roscoe, Regina Beard, Katherine Moore, Felicia Rodrica Benford, & Andrew Terry we will continue to make a positive impact together here at @tamu and beyond! 👏🏽🔥 #AggiePride #12Under12 #gigem taken in The Association of Former Students by @mgerall

This summer I was honored with the opportunity to be a namesake for @tamu_fishcamp Session H Camp Lime @gerallinthistogether thanks to a nomination from my dear friend @reagan_isbell

Although I was unsure of what to expect, I want to make it known that this was one of the most fulfilling experiences and fondest memories that I have had as an Aggie. This is exclusively credited to the hard work and dedication of the counselors and especially the camp Gerall co-chairs, @_samanthahuffman & @_grant.r.bennett. These beautiful group of young Aggies perfectly embody the Aggie Spirit as they poured their whole hearts and souls into welcoming Texas A&M’s class of 2026. @tamu is lucky to have had such dynamic and passionate leaders shaping the future of our Aggie family, and we would all like to say Thank you!

It is bitter-sweet now that fish camp has come and gone, but the Gerall Family has grown and the relationships that we made at camp will last a lifetime. Thank you to all of the Camp Gerall Counselors for your love, Campers for your support, and Co-Chairs for a memory of the Aggie Spirit that I will never forget! 💚 taken in Texas A&M University by @mgerall

This still feels like a dream. One of those really good dreams that plays over and over again in your head, but when I finally open my eyes the first thought that comes to mind is to say, ‘thank you.’

Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Thank you to everyone who has welcomed me into their lives and have joined me on this journey.

I want to recognize my fellow Jefferson Award @multiplyinggood winners across the globe. It is truly an honor to be acknowledged alongside such dedicated and distinguished servant leaders and it is not something that I take lightly.

I hope that everyone out there knows that you too can have a profound impact through service and to be honest, it is quite easy.

Start by listening.  Every day initiate a short conversation with someone that doesn’t look like you, doesn’t sound like you, and doesn’t come from the same background.

Next commit to action. Reflect on these conversations and think about what strengths you have that could make a difference and then share them with your community!

As author Everette Edward Hale once said,

“I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And I will not let what I cannot do interfere with what I can do.”

Together we can change our world and there is truly no better day to start than today! taken in George H. Bush Presidential Library by @mgerall

This past week I was lucky enough to present at the annual @tedxtamu_ conference and it was truly a once in a lifetime experience!
In my speech titled “Hard to See and Easy to Overlook” I challenged the audience to join me on the “Road Less Traveled” by investing the benefits of their privilege in those who are Hard to See and Easy to Overlook, the members of our communities that are living on the margin! taken in Texas A&M University by @mgerall

What an honor to receive these incredible notes of #gratitude, and to be a role model for our younger generations.

I believed that it is an individual choice to think of others, to give back to the best of your ability, and to be the change that you want to see in the world.

This next week I hope that you take some time to stop what you are doing and help someone in you #community. When you do this you will have made a world of difference for that one! taken in Texas A&M University by @mgerall

What does it mean to be an “#essentialworker”? The word #Essential means absolutely necessary; extremely important to the functionality of a system. The work function of these frontline workers has not changed, but the perception of our dependence and our appreciation of their value has.

“The millions of people who do these essential jobs have been excluded from the abundance of our economy and #marginalized by our #society. We should not continue to accept this as normal.” How, as a society, can we build on this empathetic breakthrough and prioritize this as part of our “ #newnormal”?

“We need to build a better version of “normal,” through our #businessmodels, #policychoices, #norms, and #laws.” We need to come together to support those who are essential in our community providing the physical, emotional, and financial platform that one needs to successfully fulfill this role in our society. Can @tamu lead the way and set the example of how to treat these essential members in our community? taken in College Station, Texas by @mgerall

“One day a man was walking along the beach, when he noticed a boy hurriedly picking up and gently throwing things into the ocean. Approaching the boy, he asked, “Young man, what are you doing?” The boy replied, “Throwing starfish back into the ocean. The surf is up and the tide is going out. If I don’t throw them back, they’ll die.” The man laughed to himself and said, “Don’t you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish? You can’t make any difference!”
After listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish, and threw it into the surf. Then, smiling at the man, he said, “I made a difference to that one.”” - Unknown. Thank you @danielstarklaw for the recognition and support of my mission. I am not any more “Remarkable” than the next guy, I’ve just developed an intense passion for giving back to communities around the world. But, it all starts at “home,” and right now, that’s #Aggieland.

I have found my #purpose in life and am confident in my #vision and #mission. Thank you for joining me on this journey! taken in Texas A&M University by @mgerall
