Grateful for these experiences. Grateful for this path I am on.

Pursue your passion. Ask for what you want. Be specific. It’s always listening taken in Johannesburg, South Africa by @mi.cal.am

Something has been quietly building in the background.

This weekend, it steps into the light for the first time.

I’ll be playing @bloom_festival_jhb as Accidental Mystic, but this one carries a little more meaning. It also marks the first outing of @gaiakhaya a new project I’ve been creating with some very special people.

Gaia Khaya explores the more spiritual and alternative edges of electronic music: slower, organic, psychedelic and exploratory. Music that creates space to listen, move, connect and get lost for a while, alongside experiences that extend beyond the dancefloor.

Bloom is where we begin to bring that world to life.

I’m playing Sunday morning from 06:00–09:00, alongside a carefully programmed collection of artists.

The first chapter starts here.

Last night at the @capetowninternationaljazzfest 2027 launch representing @africa_rising_music_conference , @paradiseworldwide__ .

@dr.iqbalsurve_official gave a touching tribute to the late Abdullah Ibrahim, alongside some HUGE announcements about next year’s programme.

African music is in an exciting space.

Thank you to @georgiaejones and the CTIJF for flying the culture flag and promoting the arts.
