We can admit you’ll probably make lifelong friends in most clubs at Miami, but MMT might be the only one where you can win lots of trophies AND see Elphaba, Glinda, and Megamind show up in the same skit.

If you’re interested in joining #TheLegacy there’s still time to check out MMT before tryouts this Wednesday! Our last info session is 9/1 in Harrison 111 starting at 6pm. Don’t miss out ‼️ taken in Miami University by @miamimocktrial

This past weekend 9 of our rising juniors and sophomores competed in the annual Rookie Rumble competition!

A huge congratulations goes out to all of them, especially those who tried out a new role with only a few weeks of prep. Great work everyone!! 👏 taken in Miami University by @miamimocktrial

Some big congratulations are in order to Emersen Kolb for her stellar performances in this year’s Trial By Combat ‼️

This past weekend @somewhatmacbeth got to end her undergraduate mock trial career with a bang by competing alongside some of the top mock trial attorneys in the nation. (And also compete as a witness for the first time ever!) Recent alum @ilanamiller816 also deserves a big shoutout for all her help as Emersen’s second chair 👏.

Thank you to all her competitors, coaches, and MMT teammates who flew out to LA to support. Congrats again Emersen! ⚔️🦅 taken in UCLA School of Law by @miamimocktrial

We might have gotten back from Nationals over a month ago, but we’re still thinking about our 2025-26 season. 💭

Not only did we have two teams compete at ORCS and a top 10 finish at Nationals, but we finished the year with BOTH our A and B teams ranked in the top 100 out of nearly 300 teams across the country.

This year was definitely one for the books and we cannot wait to see what the 2026-27 season has in store! 🥳🏆 #TheLegacy taken in Miami University by @miamimocktrial

Our last (but certainly not least!) #SeniorSpotlight is Rachel Pritchard! 🌟

Rachel has been a member of MMT for the past four years. We truly cannot thank Rachel enough for all her hard work she did this year for MMT. From running recruitment to making sure we were always up on time to get our rental cars for competition weekends, there wasn’t anything she DIDN’T do on top of her attorney role which she also excelled at. We’ll miss you so much!

Congrats Rachel! 🎓🎉 by @miamimocktrial

We’re not done with our #SeniorSpotlight posts yet! Todays is Sarah Chase! 🌟

Sarah has been a member of MMT for four years. Throughout her time in the program, she truly did it all! Name any witness archetype and Sarah probably played it, although her favorite to portray were experts. We’ll miss you!

Congrats Sarah! 🎓🎉 by @miamimocktrial
